There are several reasons why this might happen. Please check the following:

1. Make sure that you have added a link to the button. Click the button to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Link To > check that your link is set up correctly.

2. Make sure that your site has been published and not only saved.

3. Make sure that another element is not blocking the button by being placed on top of it.

    @rusticlaceaussies,

    I checked your site, rusticlaceaussies.wix.com/rusticlaceminis and I can see the problem.
    The reason you are unable to select your the two menu buttons is that you currently have a text component placed on top of the menu which is blocking it. To resolve the problem, simply click on the text component and drag the bottom border upwards until it is above the menu.

    Hi,

    Please use a service like screenr.com to show us the process you use to link, as it appears from your description that you've done everything correctly and we weren't able to recreate the problem on our side.

    Thanks,

    Hi Itamar, there was problem with linking through the button linked to the subpage, not through the menu. Anyway I just tried to delete the slash in the name and it works now. But I use slash in other subpage name and it works fine. Thanks

    @iggyzuk

    Please note I was able to navigate to your subpages. Could you specify a specific link that you encountered the problem with?

    Hi ddubbers and milkmansdaughter,

    Please note that there is a temporary issue with using slashes ( '/') in the page address and

    name. Just change you page names ( erase any slashes ) and re link your buttons afresh.

    This should resolve the issue.

    Thanks,

    I am having the exact same problem as ddubbers. My links were set to existing pages, but were sending me back to the home page. After several tries, I found that the only way I could get them to work was by using the same text in the Page Name as in the Page Address. This should not be happening. Now the description at the top of the browser (set by the Page Name) is hideous (using hyphens), but its the only way it will work.
