There are several reasons why this might happen. Please check the following:

1. Make sure that you have added a link to the button. Click the button to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Link To > check that your link is set up correctly.

2. Make sure that your site has been published and not only saved.

3. Make sure that another element is not blocking the button by being placed on top of it.

    Self-lost icon in the top bar menu, but only in the mobile version of my website. I do not know how I can fix this? Can you help me with this?

      Hey.

      In my iphone can not see on the website navigation menu (menu button and dropdown menu). You can see only one icon navigation.

      Spontaneously without my intervention disappeared from the top panel icons and stayed there only one that is "more" (vice) Can you fix it?

      This is happening because the text box for your title "DIS" is too long and is covering the menu, as you can see from the screenshot I attached:

    A few of my pages aren't linking properly.  My "about" page is not able to be accessed from any other page.  It shows up in the menu but it doesn't link to any page at all.  Then on other pages, the problem happens with my "home" button on the menu.  This problem only started happening when I upgraded to a Premium account.  Please help!

      Hey,

       

      You didn't mention the refered site therefore I could not check the issue in your editor.

       

      I assume you have another element sitting on top this part of the menu. Please go to your editor and click the About button, if a window related to another element (not the menu) pops up, simply send it backwards by using the Send Backwards arrow at the bottom of this window. Don't forget to save the changes

       

      If this is not the issue please let us know the referred site so we could assist better.

    I am trying to link my "Cart" Button to my "Join/Contact" page but everytime I click on the cart it takes me to the Home Screen.  I have cleared my cache, etc.  Please help! :)

      Hi,

       

      We apologize for the inconvenience.

       

      This is happening because of the slash (/) you've placed in the page name in question.

      You will need to remove it as it is causing a conflict in the url and by default, navigates back to your home page.

       

      Once you removed it, please delete your cart button > add it back again and re link it.

       

      Let us know how it went and if you require further assistance.

    Hi Wix Team,

     

    The buttons on my website all work fine (to my knowledge) however the pictures on my Gallery and Available Tonight page are not coming up as a link in Chrome browser. I've checked IE and others and it seems to work fine but not in Chrome??

     

    I've un-linked and re-linked, emptied cache etc. like you normally advise and still no change. Please help as this could potentially be losing me business.

      Hey forbiddenfruit24,

       

      I apologize for the inconvenience.

       

      This has to do with the style you set for these images.We are aware of this issue and currently working on a fix.

      As a workaround you can simply change the style of your images,please click on the image > Image settings > Change style.

       

      In addition, I noticed you placed various items outside gridlines.

      Gridlines appear inside your editor to help you build your site's layout. Currently your site is fixed at 980px in order to accommodate the largest number of internet users that will be visiting your site. You will want to place all of your site's content inside the Gridlines to ensure its compatibility across different browsers and devices. 

       

      Checkout the video below to learn more about our Gridlines feature that will help you with your site's layout. 
       

      The gridlines do not appear on your live site - they are there as a guide that can help you map and design your site better.To remove the gridlines, simply click on the gridlines icon from the top menu.

    I am trying to link my buttons to certain pages in my scheduling software's website but each time I go to paste the link into them they say, "not a valid url". However, I know these URL's to be good links because I can paste them anywhere else I need and they work just fine. If I log out of my scheduling software and use the generic start page I can use those links in my buttons but they wont go to the correct page on the scheduling site. All the buttons on my wix web page go to whatever page on the scheduling site I was last on.

      Please follow this instruction:

       Please note that when you click on an external link in Preview, if its set to open in a new window then the link would work. If it is set to open in the same window, you will get a message that says the link works but won't open in preview mode. Before you publish your site, there is no other way to view it.

       

      If the problem persits, please provide us with a screen shot. For instructions on how to take a screenshot, please use this link.
       

      To upload the screenshot, simply click on the "Upload" button and follow the steps.

    Hello,

    I'm having a problem with only one of my buttons on my page. It does not seem to be linking to the proper page. I have done the following; relinked it, cleared my cache, published my site and still nothing. I cannot see an element on the page that would be blocking it. Is thee something I'm missing?

      Hello,

       

      I have checked your site and it seems that all of the navigation buttons are functioning correctly. Which one caused you issues?

       

      Please note that such an issue can be caused when renaming pages. Please make sure to properly re-connect all of the buttons in your navigation bar (if you haven't already, and just to make sure) and try again.

       

      Please let us know if the problem persists so we could further assist you.

      the button that is not working is called "PRODUITS", it links to the English home page instead of the french products page.

      Hello,

       

      Yes I can see now the problem was not functioning properly.

       

      I have fixed the relevant button on the PRODUITS page, you can copy it and use on the rest of the pages.

      This might have been an issue caused by renaming the page after linking - you can also try to re-link the buttons instead of pasting the button.

       

      Please let us know if this solved your issue.

      I have updated your site a bit - please follow these steps:

       

      1. Clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

      2. Open your Editor and preview the "Pièces" page.

      3. Click the "Produits" button on the navigation bar.

       

      I have also updated the button on the "Produits" page itself, so clicking it when viewing the page will not direct you to the English homepage.

       

      Please let me know if after following these steps the problem persists.

    I have used the default button option to link to about 5 pages on all of my pages.  The buttons are not working.  I have checked to make sure there are no elements covering my buttons.. Can someone please help me?  http://www.ampmserviceco.com

    Hello Im trying to put my Menus on my page but Im working with spanish and english site so when i put the menu on the Home on the english side it appear in all the pages including the spanish side.

    I errase the banner and try it by single button and happen the same thing.

    How do I separents the menus ?

    anyone can help me?

    I have about 10 different text boxes and buttons that link to different pages.

    one of the links does not work. I keep linking it and it keeps unlinking itself/linking to the wrong page.

      Please specify as to the the location of the link on your site (i.e. the page and location on that page).

      improving consistency of hires is the link that keeps jumping to change management page.

      this is on clients page, first column on left which are case studies.
