      Hey!

Https is currently not supported by Wix. While linking objects to urls, you should use the Http prefix. We're aware of this issue and we're working on resolving it as soon as possible. I apologize for the inconvenience this had caused you, and for your cooperation.

      Best regards, WIX Team.

      Hi jonathanbromage4,

Please try and use this shortened address: http://bit.ly/1kLurBk

If you experience further difficulties with generating a working link please let us know what site, page and button you are trying to link to so that we may test this matter.

      All the best, Ellie

Buttons change does NOT take effect! On the editor it looks perfect: all have the exact same design, but when I save & publish: NOTHING happen!

Why hasn't the defenitions takes effect?

All three of them: upper-left corner button: orange background with yellow writing, & upper-middle button: green background with yellow writing, & the upper-right corner that in your end looks terrible!

I have tested them and the online version has the same colours and effects that the editor version.

Are these buttons showing different at your end?

Please provide us with a screen shot of the problem. For instructions on how to take a screenshot, please use this link.

To upload the screenshot, simply click on the "Upload" button and follow the steps.

The template I am using has a main menu with 4 buttons.  I want to add one button (make it 5) to THAT menu.  No way to do that is obvious. WIX assumes a fixed number of buttons.  I should at will be able to add a button for any page anytime I want.  What do I do?

      Hi malofsky,

Adding a page to your site (as a main page, not a sub-page), will automatically add another button to your menu.

If your menu shows the "More" button instead of the new page button, it is because your menu doesn't have enough space. You can simply make the menu wider and the page button will be displayed.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

      - Regards, Carley

Hi, I have a multilingual page and have followed your instructions on multilingual buttons. But when I set my buttons in English in my English page, they also appear in my Spanish page. I´ve marked the Show on All Pages in all buttons. The other way around, buttons in Spanish, they appear in Spanish in the English version. So, what I want is:

    - Buttons in English linked to my English pages

    - Buttons in Spanish linked to my Spanish pages

Page is saved but not published.

    Thanks

      Hey  mikelmugalari,

It is not possible to set the button to appear on some of your pages by using the 'Show on all pages' feature. You will have to copy and paste the buttons to the Spanish pages and the other buttons to your English pages.

      Thanks,

    • Itamar Wix Team

Exactly. You need to copy the English buttons and paste them in every English page, and do the same for the Spanish buttons and pages.

I am trying to add a URL to the button setting to link to (an external link).  I continue to get an error saying the URL is invalid.  I put the link in a browser and the link works.  Are there restrictions for the URL?   it is an .shtml page -  does that matter?   it has ( and ) in the URL - does that matter?

      Hi,

This may be due to the .shtml extension of the page.

Please try shortening the link using bit.ly and attaching the shortened link.

I am trying to get a button to act like a drop down menu, is this possible? I would like the button to be able to link to more than one page and give viewers the option to choose which page to go to, like a drop down menu.

    Thank you!

      Hello,

Unfortunately this isn't possible at the moment.

We document and learn from every feature request brought to our attention. These objectives are immediately high priority milestones in Wix's product road map.

Feel free to add your feature request to our Wish List by posting here.

You can keep up to date with what features are coming soon here.

In the meantime, you can add various buttons and link to different pages.

My suggestion to you, since you want it to look like a menu, is to make all the buttons the same format (size, text, shape, color, etc.) and put them all together - to form a menu.

In order to do so, add a button (add --> buttons & menus --> button), customize it, and then while the button is clicked, click CTRL+C CTRL+Z in the keyboard.

Keep doing so until you have the amount of buttons needed.

Arrange them in a form of a menu, and link them to wherever you want (click on a button --> link to --> page\web address).

Should you have any further questions, please let us know! Thanks, Customer Solutions

      Hello,

In order to add a button to your footer, please add a button to a page, check the "Show on all pages" option in the button settings menu and then just drag it to the footer area:
