A solution for this would be to link the text to the same page that the button is linked to.

To add a link in your document, please follow these steps:
    1. Choose the object, picture, button that you want.
    2. Simply select it and choose the "Link to" option from the Settings window.
    3. Fill in the space with your external URL and click on the OK button.

You can find more information about linking here.

Are you able to wrap text on the buttons?  My buttons got too wide, as they didn't wrap or let me hit return to make it more like a paragraph.  So, I cleared out all text and did add text and created the text I needed.  HOWEVER, now the button does not work for my link where the paragraph of basic added text covers the button.  I only did this work around to be able to create my text properly.  This is for my htmlpref site.

the names of the menu buttons reflect the names of the pages.

you can always add individual buttons and name them with no consideration of the name of the page the button is connected to.

I want to change the text of a button and I don't want it to pertain to an existing page. Do I have to create a page and name that page in order for a button to have the same name?

    Hi Mae Scarlett ,

In the WixMobile tutorial, at 2:25 you can see  the section that pertains to changing the header.

Glad we could help, and do not hesitate to ask us any other questions.

I don't have time to tell you how to tell you how to fix your tutorials. I need to spend a month figuring out how to maneuver around design obstacles to get my site published in a reasonable time.

Surely the WIX team knows that editing an HTML site is different than editing a Flash  site.

Thank you all for help in my time of need.

@texasgoldencamel, can you specify where in our tutorials clarification is needed. We will look in to this!

@nonistewart, please post in the Mobile thread for Mobile related issues. To change your Logo, open your Mobile editor > now when editing the Pages, click Edit Header > and start editing:

Alon, thank you so much. I have been going crazy trying to find out why I do not have a Button Settings Window. It is so simple now that you explain it, but Wix tutorials tell a whole different story leading me on hours of wild goose chases.
