HELP …….. Is it possible to add an anchor link to the menu bar? I can't seem to find out how? Thanks in advance.

hank you for contacting Wix support!

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties.

Please note that you cannot add an anchor link to your menu bar. The menu bar contains all the master pages on your site. However, if you'd like,  instead of using the "Menu" option you can use buttons such that each button will link to a different page on your site or to a different part. By using buttons, you can create you own menu and you will be able to link a button to an anchor on your site.

For more information about buttons click here.

Hope this helps. For further assistance please don't hesitate to contact us again.

      Thanks, Rony Customer Solutions

Hi,  Is it possible to have 2 menu rows.  I want to avoid the "More" drop down button & have a 2nd row for the buttons that could't fit on the first line.

    Namaste ,

Currently it's impossible to add two different menus to your site.

You can add a second row of buttons to your site and link each button to a different pages on your site from the more tab, then you can design the buttons to look like part of your menu.

Once you link all of the pages from the more tab to buttons, you will be able to remove the pages from the original menu by clicking on pages and for each page you want to remove, click Settings > Hide From Menu.

Please contact us should you require further assistance.

I'm trying to create a button that has multiple lines of text but it seems that there is no way to make the text of a button be on more than one line. Is there a way and I'm just missing it or am I right in thinking that there is no way to do this?

You are correct, this is currently not possible, but there are plenty of workarounds.

For example you can simply link your text instead of a button.

You can also create a button for every line and place them one beneath the other.

If you require any further assistance, feel free to contact us again.

      Thank you,

Yeah I had thought of both of those workarounds. I just wanted to see if there was a way to do it with one button.

Why can't I make button text color invisible (0% opacity)? It seems whatever color I choose to apply zero opacity to, the full color shows up.

I want the text color to be invisible and the text mouseover color to be white. Please help.

You can set the color to 1% opacity and it should give you the same result.

Just to make sure I understand correctly: You would like to make the buttons transparent until they are hovered over or would  you like the text not to appear at all?

      Hi Anat,

Yes, the former - make the buttons invisible until they are hovered over. (I am trying to recreate the look and feel of a proper menu with buttons for a multi-language site.)

Unfortunately, you cannot make the button text  completely invisible, however, if you add a color in the background of the box (and not leave it transparent), you can create the affect you are looking for.

      I hope this helps.

Please let us know should you require further assistance.

Evidently, the opacity function doe not work with text at all.

Text cannot be completely transparent due to SEO blacklisting reasons.

Google and other search engines automatically flag sites with invisible text.

I am having problems with the button text, I can change it, I save it, I publish it, when I check the published site it shows the correct button text but within an hour I will go back to check and some of the buttons will have returned to the earlier default text, this is becoming extremely frustrating as I lends to me having to go back and redo all the work again, can someone please assist me?

Can you please specify which buttons are you referring to?

Is it happening to you in all of the browsers or only specific ones?

You can try to remove the buttons you experience problems with, add them again, change the texts and see if the issue persists.

      Please, let us know.

I would like 3 buttons to all be linked together. They all link to the same external document at different places on my website.  Right now I have having to go in and update each one separately when the document needs updating.  Is there a way that when I update one button that all 3 would update at the same time?

Unfortunately it is currently not possible.

If you set your button to show on all pages, editing it on one page will change it throughout all of your site's pages. However the button will show in the same location on all pages and you will not be able to remove it only from specific pages. You can vote for this feature here.

Thank you!  You gave me the idea of putting that button on all my pages.. It doesn't really need to be on all pages, but that might be the best solution for now.  Thanks again for the quick response!

    Hi! I need help!
I added a menu bar to my page, but when I clicked "show on all pages" it fell so far back that it became uneditable/unclickable. I moved all elements on the page out of the way to make sure they weren't blocking it but I still can't select it! What should I do?

    color change on the buttons

I am having a problem getting the button color and text to show up on my published page as it is showing up on my editor's page. See screen shot. I want it to look like my editor's page but it is not happening. I have tried to personalize but when published it still does not change. Any assistance is appreciated.
