    color change on the buttons

I am having a problem getting the button color and text to show up on my published page as it is showing up on my editor's page. See screen shot. I want it to look like my editor's page but it is not happening. I have tried to personalize but when published it still does not change. Any assistance is appreciated.

      Hello!

I've checked your live website and could not see the difference between your editor and published version:

While browsing on the web, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

      Hi,

I have already answered your question here.

      Hi Yotam!

Thanks for fast reply and sorry for the dubble questioning, wasnt sure I post it right. Not happening again ;-) I have choosen the Glorify template and deleted some of the "original" post and modified the other one to suite me. But the posts that are there already have their buttons (at least it looks like buttons) at the bottom of the post, but when I click on them they dont come up with the "link to" alternative (tried to upload a screenshot but it just wouldnt upload). Neither can I delete them...

I solved the problem by adding a box, then a pic, then a titel and a button to make a new "post", but the problem I have now is that I cant seem to change the Font in the button. For example, I want to have the text: Interested in "American Typewriter" but that doesnt seem to be an option.

      Thank You!

I can not add a button. I can not edit an existing button. The Button Settings pop-up is not the same, on my screen, as what is shown in the help video. Is there anyone out there that can help me with this issue? Is this a known bug? Is there a work around?

Hi. I edited buttons on my page, but even though the change appears in preview mode, after I publish the site and visit it live online, the buttons have not changed.  I tried fixing this several weeks ago for a while and gave up. I went online today and the button style in the editing mode was back to the old button style.  I edited it again and it still won't publish the changes. Any help?

    Thanks,

    Heather

      Hey Heather,

I am sorry you are experiencing difficulties.

When working on the HTML5 editor, your design settings apply everywhere on your website. This is true regarding your background, colors and fonts (which you can edit by choosing 'Design' from the main menu on the left), and also regarding the styles you set for other components, like galleries, shapes, etc.

When you change the style of your box or a button, for example, you can actually set up to four different styles and choose one of them. Editing any of those styles will affect all the other boxes on your site that have the same style assigned to them.

You can personalize any individual box by clicking Personalize this Box from Change Style.

This option will allow you to edit only a specific button without effecting other buttons within your site.

If the issue persists, please provide us with a screen shot of the problem so we can better understand it and investigate it further. For instructions on how to take a screenshot, please use this link.

To upload the screenshot, simply click on the "Upload" button and follow the steps.

      Thanks,

Hi Alina, thanks for your quick reply! I don't mind if all the buttons change, in fact I find it easier to keep the whole site consistent looking. The edits just weren't actually saving and publishing. I tried again this morning and the editing session reflected the old style again. I edited them once more and they actually took! My site looks much better now. I'm not sure what the issue was, perhaps a glitch of some sort. But at least it's been resolved.

Thanks again. I've been with WIX for several years now and really appreciate how helpful you all are.

      Hi,

You can add a Compare Ninja Comparison Table.

Click here for general instructions about how to add an app from the Wix App Market.

You can also contact CompareNinja at any time!
      Email: contact@compareninja.com

Regarding the link, if you referring to link an elements to a specific button on your site, this feature is currently not available.

To link a button, add a button to your site from the Buttons & Menus section of the Add list and link it to an external site, a page from your site, a document or an email address.

      To add a button:

      1. From the left in the Editor, click the Add icon.
      2. From the Add list, click Buttons & Menus. Click one of the button options.
      3. From the Button Settings window, under Button Text, type a name for your button.
      4. Under Link to, click the field.
      5. From the Link Settings window that opens, click your Link type: Web Address, Page, Email or Document and add your link.
      6. From the Link Settings window, click Done.
      7. Click outside of the button to close the Button Settings window.

A button is added to your site.

Note: To return to Add , click Back to Add from the top of the window. To close Add, click X from the top right.

Ever time I edit a button on me page it changes every other button to the same style. This never used to happen. How do I stop this? I haven't got 2 buttons highlighted or anything like that I just change one button to a different style and EVERY button changes with it

      Hi Inge,

This is happening because your header is covering your buttons. To fix this, click on your header and then on 'Move backwards' in the menu that opens. This will move your header one layer to the back.

Keep clicking on this button until you can select your buttons.

I am not able to edit or delete my view cart button. I followed the steps listed above and

you are unable to click the button, it has most likely been pushed backward behind your page element. Please click your page > in the float panel that appears click the Send Backward button until it is greyed out (the button will look as in this example):

It is still not working. I am getting ready to publish my site and I would like to get this fixed asap.

      Hey,

If there's not enough space to enter the text you want as a button, you can always add text and link it.

Simply add the text you wish, highlight it and click the Link button, than choose where to link it.
