Unfortunately, this feature is not avaive yet, however you can achieve a similar effect by using a gallery.

Simply save the text as an image > upload the image to a gallery.

To add a gallery to your site: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Gallery > choose a gallery type from the list.

To add images to your gallery: Click the gallery that you added to your site > click Organize Images > click Add Images.

Note: Some of our galleries have an Autoplay option. To find out if the gallery you have chosen has this option, please click the gallery to select it > click Settings > look for the Autoplay checkbox.

Note: You can also find third-party gallery apps in the Wix App Market. Check out the Flickr Gallery, Galerie Social Gallery or Revolution Slider apps.
For general information about how to add apps as the Galerie Social Gallery or the Revolution Slider, click here

I agree with LaVidaRomana, and bkmilligan. I am in the process of creating a very large online shopping site so it would be great to have the option to have different menus and choose which pages go with which different menus. It would save a lot of time and easier for site consistency.

I would like to make my vertical menu sub pages. Is this possible?

Unfortunately at the moment the only menu you can add to your site a menu that includes the main unhidden pages.

In order to add a sub-menu you need to you use buttons.

You can add as many buttons as you’d like and link them to pages of your site or even external URL addresses.

To add a button click add → buttons and menus → button.

Customize it by click on it → change style → “edit style”* or “personalize this button”**.

      * If you use one of the set options (default\text\large\emphasis) and use “edit style” to change its appearance, any other button set to the same option will look the same. Moreover, if you click “edit style” once you have all your buttons, and change a set option, it will modify all the buttons set to the same option in your site.

** Personalize this button will result in changing that specific button you’re working on, without modifying any other items in your editor.

In order to link a button, click on it → link to → Page\URL address. To learn more about linking buttons, click here.

Once you have all your buttons, place them wherever you’d like your new menu to be in and you should be all set!

Should you have any further questions, please let us know! Thanks, Customer Solutions

That's great! It would be perfect if that menu can also be used as an extra menu;  for sub-pages for example.

Or just the option to choose what pages go into the menu (instead of the default menu pages, which makes it impossible to have multiple -different menus).

Especially for online shops this would be very useful

Thank you for your suggestions! At the moment, the vertical menu has the exact same features as the regular menu.

      We appreciate your feedback!

    Vertical menu option please!!!

Your suggested "workaround" isn't entirely effective. Although individual buttons can mouse-over to a highlighted color like menu buttons can, once selected, the individual buttons revert back to their original color, making it hard for a viewer to navigate the site.

Your vote for a vertical menu has been counter!
