      Hi,

I have accessed your editor and couldn't locate the menu.

You can add a new menu:

From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Buttons & Menus > click Menu > drag the menu into place and resize it accordingly.

Note: To change how your pages' names appear on the menu, you must change the page names from Pages (click the Page icon from the left side of the Editor).

For more information about menus click here.

Or you can also restore your site to a previous saved version:

You can restore a prior version of your Wix site from your Site History.

To restore a prior version: Sign in to your Wix account > click My Sites > next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > on the right, under Handy Shortcuts, click Site History.

Here you can see an overview of all edits and changes that you have made to your saved and published site. This will make it easy for you to view, flag or restore to a prior version of your website at any time!

It's a good idea to flag and rename versions so that you can find them easily.

Note: The following components will not be affected when you restore a previous version of your site: Online Store, Blog, List Builder, and Apps

Note: You can also create a duplicate copy of your site.

To create a duplicate copy: Sign in to your Wix account > click My Sites > next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > on the right, under Handy Shortcuts, click Show More > click Duplicate Site.
      For more information, click
      here.

For further information click here .

      All best,

Is there any way we can add an "Upload Image" feature? my site includes customized phone cases with any image the guest desires and it would be very helpful if the customer is able to upload their own image to include at checkout.

      Hello,

I am not sure I understand precisely what you intend to do. In case you want to allow multiple users to edit your site, then currently this is possibly only by sharing the login information for the account.

In case I have misunderstood you, please elaborate more.

      Hi,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide others the option to edit your site pages.

You can add an admin button to your site, however you will need to provide this person the login details of your Wix account.'

Its really the only thing that wix is missing, is a good account and profile system for the people who create accounts. Its either wix or weebly that people say is the best, if wix had that sort of account and profile, it would easily be better than weebly

I am desperately trying to add a new menu to my course pages, but it just duplicates my existing main menu?????

      Hi anyabeha7,

We currently do not have an option to add more than one menu.

Note: You can however achieve a similar result by adding one menu, and creating another dummy menu using buttons arranged in a row.

Feel free to vote for this feature in this thread.

I am currently creating a website. I have menu tabs for starters, main,  desserts and drinks. These are all under the main heading of 'Menu'. However menu opens up as a new page. I don't want this, as I just want people to open the sub headings of starters, main, desserts and drinks.
I would be grateful for your help. Many Thanks,

      Hi Priya,

      Thanks for contacting us.

I'm not sure I fully understood your issue. I have opened your site, clicked on the "Starters" by the drop down menu. It didn't open a new page it only presented the "Starters" page you have created.

Please elaborate on the problem you are having. Explain us what are you attempting to achieve. Also, please describe us exactly the steps you have taken in order to recreate this issue so we will be able to reproduce it on our end.

Thanks for your patience and I await your reply.

      Hiya Rony,

I spoke to one of your advisor and I was told that wix currently doesn't have this feature where on the menu page is only a tab then another page itself. For now I have linked the menu page to another page so it should be okay. Thank- You for replying back and looking into it.

      Kind Regards

      Priya

How do I make a unique menu that links to specific pages (not all pages)???

    • Ritti Wix Team

Replied by Ritti May 4, 2014

      Hi,

Every page you make generates a menu item. Should you not want it to show you can hide it.

To hide a page from your navigation menu: From the left side of the Editor, click the Pages icon > click the Settings wheel for the relevant page > in the Settings and SEO window, check the box next to Hide from menu > click Done.

Note: Your site visitors will be unable to access hidden pages unless you link to them.

For more information about pages, please click here or watch the video below.

You can also mimic a menu by adding linkable buttons and align them:

An answer to this topic can be found in How do I add a button and link it?

I can only see two drop down entries when I click on my menu bar. I have more than two subpages set up and I'd like them all to be visible.

Also I'd like all the images at the bottom of my Home pages to be visible without having to click on SHow More. Can that be done?

      Hi,

Please note that I have checked your "flying cars" site and noticed that you have 5 subpages of the "ROCKETS" page. Also note that I was able to see these pages on the drop down menu (it was a little bit hard because the background is white and the letters too).  I have changed the background page to yellow in order to see the drop down menu properly (as you can see at the screenshot below).

Are you still experiencing this issue?

Also, regarding your second question you can simply use a different gallery! We offer several galleries that can fit your needs. I think that "Collage" gallery can be perfect for you! For more information about galleries, please click here

For further assistance, please don't hesitate!

Thanks for the help. I see that I'll either have to play with the background color - the white doesn't really show up well unless I go all the way to black - or perhaps replace drop downs with buttons on the appropriate pages. Unless there's a way to change the font color of the menu items, which I haven't found yet.

Changing the grid style will work, although I want to give each element equal weight, so honeycomb would work better than collage. I'm assuming that needing to go to a different style means that a grid simply can't be larger, correct?

Sorry, I meant change both the text and the background color together. I see how to change the text color. I also saw how to change collage to make the grid equal after the first image.

    Hi,

I have added a dropdown menu to my site on the Portfolio Page but the Portfolio page that I have applied this to has dropped down below my 'about' page and I can find no way to change this so that the pages all align along the top as before which is the way I want it!!

    Advice  / Help

    Thanks

Replied by CarleyS April 16, 2014

      Hi martinmccln,

The Portfolio page is currently arranged as a sub-page of the About page. You can easily manage which pages appear as main pages and which appear as sub-pages from the "Pages" section of your Editor.

On the left side of the Editor, please click the Pages icon. When a page has been made into a sub-page, it will appear slightly indented to the right, as you can see, your Porfolio page is. To change this, simply bring your mouse over the grey square next to the page name (as can be seen in the screen shot below) and drag it up or down.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

      - Regards, Carley
