Great news! You can now add a Blog Archive to your site! Your Blog Archive will automatically gather all your past posts and categorize them by month and year. You can display the Blog Archive as a list of dates or a drop-down menu.

To add a Blog Archive: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add button > click Blog Elements > click Archive.

Click the archive button that is added to your site > from the pop-up menu, click Settings > customize your archive's layout, date format and number of months to display.

Note: You can currently only customize the date format for the List of Dates layout.

Please add me to this wishlist.  I, too, love Wix but am surprised there is no way to archive the old blog entries.  Can't wait for this new feature!

It definitely feels like Wix started to make your average website, not blog sites in particular, so I see how this is an afterthought for them.  I would like to please vote for the archive as well, thank you!

Wow! I actually paid for a site upgrade today and am kind of regretting it now that I know Wix doesn't allow blog posts to be archived. Who wants to scroll through hundreds of post on one page. An archived list makes the page look neat. I've never even known it was possible to have a blog without an archive list. Disappointed.

It's crazy that you even developed a blog without the capability to archive.  I love the wix editor and the theme I have, but I will have to go elsewhere because I write an entry every few days.  Readers will not want to see 100 entries on one page.

I was about to upgrade to premium to start my blog but now I do not think I will if there is no way to archive older blog posts as followers will not be interested in scrolling down numerous pages, especially when most are scrolling on a mobile device becomes very tedious. Im sorry I think this is a HUGE priority for you to get more bloggers starting their sites with you, as you will lose business because you are behind on times.

I would also like an Archive feature for the blog. Probably one of the key elements in keeping a blog looking fresh & tidy. A very very essential element that is needed before our blogs stretch down the page into infinity & kill the attention span of those with slow internet because of the lengthy page congestion..

I would really like the ability to show only 5 or 6 blogs on one page and then archive the older posts. Let's do it. Weebly is! hahaha just kidding but they are. :(

The "soon to be out" archive feature should allow for the articles to be displayed in text for example like this:

    December 02, 2013
'Monsters University' & 'Toy Story of Terror' Earn Annie Nominations

    November 22, 2013
Pixar Cuts Staff Following 'The Good Dinosaur' Delay

    November 15, 2013
    Woody's News Round-Up! (11/15/13)

    October 29, 2013
'Monsters University,' 'Cars' 3D Arrive on Blu-ray/DVD
