I just created a blog via WIX yesterday and I am trying to change the background, in order to match my site (currently with WIX). When I go to search for an image, and select "your wix account", I have an error message telling my that I am not logged in to my wix account. Which is incorrect since I logged on (and stayed on) in order to access the blog page in the first place... !?! That doesn't make sense...

Hello guys, my website has been using the blog function for a while. However, the blog feed is not working, I dont know what i can do. I can't even delete the blog feed element. If i delete the element, do i lose all the blog records?
I was supposed to launch my website today and I am very in need of help right now. My website is www.hypeball.com
Any suggestions would be helpful! thanks a lot!

Any chance Wix will develop an android app of Wix Blog for its clients ? That would be really great and handy. When we'll be able to add posts from our mobile devices without opening wix editor every time we want to post or edit something, more people could cooperate together on the same website blog in the same time with different or the same login credentials, that will be just awesome.
P.S. Cannot wait till I download WIX Blog app from Google Play and start using straight away :D

Two questions here:
1) is there an option to add a "back" or "forward" button link to the individual blog post pages? It seems counter intuitive to not have these on the page.
2) How can I edit a specific blog posting LAYOUT page. I can only seem to access the most recent post. While I have noticed the 2nd post page layout is messed up with overlapping items. But I have not found a way to access just that particular blog post to edit the page layout.

Can we please get a statement on these critical issues (namely, failure of SEO; failure to deliver no-brainer features such as embedded images; failure to meet promises regarding tool support; failure to deliver professional-quality tools; failure to address a tidal wave of upset and concern) from the person in charge of the Wix blog project? Given how long many of us have been watching this thread, I don't at all think it is too much to ask to hear from the person in charge.
Better yet, let's hear from the company's founders: Avishai Abrahami, Nadav Abrahami, or Giora Kaplan. Because the truth is, I'm not convinced that Wix leadership is actually aware of these gaping holes in the toolset. If someone in the company is hiding their own ineptitude by pretending it's all going just swimmingly, the leadership needs to know. Or, they need to publicly justify this hodgepodge and harmful approach to developing new "features" which is clearly hurting the company's public image.

We agree. Because of the blog issues (and that a lot of our clients can't get to our website because they run IE8 or earlier...yet WIX has built their own site with code for IE8) we are starting the process of moving to WordPress. I can't believe that an exec at WIX hasn't been informed of this issue!? If they have, shame on them.
I beg of you WIX...PLEASE acknowledge the blog issue and let us in on what is being done to correct it! (We are 2 months out from moving the site...but if the issue is fixed within 1 month we may stick around.)
I think the comment below from bradkan6 deserves careful attention from Wix Team. It is a very sensitive issue and most important than any other feature, I believe.
Yet another huge problem with the Wix blog: SEO doesn't work. Completely non-existent and therefore useless. Even if I do the most direct possible search for a post (my name + name of site + most important keyword), the post will not show up in a web search. That's a total failure of the tool, Wix.
Wix, this blog feature is good-looking but ultimately unusable. You promised this feature ages ago, and now it's almost the end of 2013 and basic functionality still is not there. You are unable to provide quick fixes or give us a timeline for major features. Clearly, you guys just don't have what it takes.
After endless months of hope followed by frustration, I am going to start migrating my site back to Wordpress. It's not quite as pretty but it sure does the job. In the meantime, I will be telling the many media professionals who I meet on a daily basis to stay well away from Wix.
If you're subscribed to your thread: think twice about why you want this blog tool. Chances are, you're like me: you fell in love with the beauty and simplicity of the Wix website builder and wanted to migrate your blogging to the app. But Wix has proven over the long-term that they are unable to support their own ideas and vision. If your blog has anything to do with business or career, dump this company before they make you look bad. Their sites look good, but at the end of the day, they just can't deliver.
