Yes! You can use your Wordpress blog with Wix by connecting your blog to a subdomain (ex: blog.yourdomain.com). For information about connecting your blog to a subdomain, please visit the Wordpress page here and follow the instructions.

If you would like to add a blog directly to your Wix site, you can use the Wix Blog!

We also have two blog apps available for you to use: Tumblr Feed and Blogger Feed. You can find these apps in the Wix App Market.

I do not have a wordpress blog but i need a website that can support wordpress.  I am using apptivo to manage my business information, clients, candidates, etc.  The support team at Apptivo said that wix.com would not be able to support the wordpress powered app.  How does this work and are there any suggestions on applicant tracking.

I have a web designer designing a website using wordpress theme. I understand that the wordpress theme website can be transfer to current domain registered through wix.com with a subdomain.

    My question is :

Will I be able to use Wix tools to make changes to the content of the website after that?

No, you will need to use wordpress's control panel to edit the content.

      Alright. Good to know.

So, I will still be able to update the content to wix after editing the content using work press's control panel. correct?

Regarding the blog itself - i.e the Wordpress page connected to your sub-domain - it will show your actual Wordpress page. You don't need to update any content on your Wix site for the changes you made through Wordpress to apply.

Regarding your Wix site - i.e your "regular" domain - you can edit it on the Wix editor, accessible through your Wix account.

Please elaborate and clarify what you would like to do so we can better assist you.

You can either create a subdomain and link it to your site, or creating a Wix blog; but another option may be showing your Wordpress blog on one of your site's pages by using an iFrame, where your blog would be embedded in your site and appear in some sort of a "window" to the original Wordpress blog URL.

With the HTML App you can test and add your own HTML code to your Wix site.

For more information check out the tutorial below, or you can click here.

*Take a minute to read through the Known Issues & Limitations of the HTML iFrame/Embed App via the link above before using this.

Please let us know should you need any further help.

I hope I'm not asking the same thing too many times, but from all the answers I've gathered i still have the doubt:

If you want to add your Wordpress.org blog as a tab/page to your already-created-and-with-own-domain Wix website... do you have to

    1.Create it as a subdomain

    2. Put it as a regular URL link to the tab in the Menu you have in your Wix website (in which case it will totally redirect to a new site, and not picture it as if hosted int he same website)

3.Do both? and if so, which one goes first?

I'm just trying to find the best way for having my blog on my Wix, since the blog on Wordpress allows for different user collaboration with passwords and etc.

I would like to find the best way for it to look as if the blog is hosted on my website (and not like a different page altogether).

    Thanks!!! :)
