Hi all,

We'd like to provide an update of our Blog status and plan.
 

We have been getting many good feature requests, and we've collected all suggestions and are working on a revamped version of the blog, to handle many of these requests.

We have already started this process but as it is a significant change, it's taking longer than we'd hope.
 

We are aware of the fact that our users need some of the features immediately, but we will work hard to make it worth the wait.
 

We thank you for your patience and appreciate all of the feedback you provided in the last few months.

    Please stop "Thanking" us for our patience for continuing to wait for the multiple image functionality in the Blog module.  We are NOT waiting patiently.

    It has been months since we first were told that the feature was being developed.  No ETA has been established.  I think I can speak for the majority when I say that we are tired of waiting.  We don't want to be thanked.  We want to see results.

    The idea that you developed the Blog feature in this way is almost impossible to fathom.  You have a great platform but you have hamstrung our ability to get our message out to our clients by messing up the blog so badly.

    Answer one question, "Why is there no ETA?"

    I've started using Wix recently and love how it's easy to use but the lack of response to everyone asking for more post pictures gives me a complete impression that the developers absolutely don't care about the customers. I will definitely never pay to use such a bad service and would advise everyone else to do the same. There are other providers who will be glad to answer it's customers in a short time and make sure that they appreciate paying for a service. I think that it's a no brainer to give your customers what they ask for in a short period of time. I see that the first post here date back many many months and this should have been solved months ago. Good luck with the future Wix if you do not answer you're customers faster then this. Sorry but no services, no money from me.

    I am *extremely* upset to discover (after paying for a year with Wix) that I can't add more than one photo to a blog post. I went to the support forums and saw that someone first asked a question about this 5 MONTHS ago, and your developers still haven't added the functionality? This is a no-brainer, standard feature of your competitors (who charge less, by the way). I'm regretting committing to Wix. Please reply with exactly when this will be added. I've tried to work around it via HTML, and that doesn't vibe with your template. Not good customer service!!!

    It would be great if you can add HTML code inside a blog post. Is that something you are working on?

    I'm just setting up my site in a fairly niche industry (content writing for hostels), and including a blog. Is there a feature for anyone interested to sign up to the blog, and get automatic email/facebook alerts every time a new blog post is added?

      Yes, it is much sought after and a next natural step for our evolving blog. We do hope to release a newer version of the blog as soon as possible.

    Allow blog coments from alternate accounts?

    Can you add the feature that give anyone ability to  comment to a blog using LinkedIn credentials, instead of Facebook or Yahoo or AOL or Hotmail?

    Also, if that is not possible what about using the LinkedIn credential that one might need to login into secure area.

    Better Blog app

    Is there any possibility that the Wix blog app will be getting a update?

    It could use a comment feature, and also could be easier to edit the posts (adding more pictures in between text, not just one picture per post)

    Any info would be great!

    BLOG ON MOBILE DEVICES:

    I don't know if other people are having this issue but the quality of the photos are not very clear. It's a little blurry.

    Pleeeeaaase, can you guys finally make a comment box like every other blog has it?? I do not want to have to cancel my business with you guys because you make it so hard on my followers. I received feed backs saying it looks weird and complicated instead of easy and simple. It doesnt even look clean and need. I would love to get more out of my blog if you would just finally add at least that. Please...thanks a lot
