      Hi,

You need to point this domain to Wix's name servers.

      Wix's name servers are:

      NS1.WIX.COM (IP address 216.139.213.90)

      NS2.WIX.COM (IP address 95.211.144.195)

When connecting your domain to Wix's name servers there are two important steps that you must complete.

      1. Make sure that you have added the domain in your Wix account.
For more information, please click here.

      2. Contact your domain host and ask them to connect your domain to Wix's the name servers (ns1.wix.com & ns2.wix.com).

Both of these steps are essential and the omission of either will result in a domain that is not properly connected.

Let us know if you need additional assistance with the process.

All the best, Dean - Wix Team

Please note that it is not possible to change the name servers in Wix domains. If you want to connect your site to an external server, please ask your domain host to send you an A record to update.

      All the best.

      Hi,

Please note that your domain is connected to Wix via DNS records. We are not your domain's host.

To point your domain to a different site, please contact your domain host.

However, I checked your Premium Manager, and you can edit its content. Click the Domains tab, then Manage next to your domain name. Under the Advanced tab, click Manage next to DNS Records. Then, click on the little pen icon next to each record you wish to modify.

Don't hesitate to contact us again,

      Hi,

I checked your Wix account and I saw your domain: psalmistjewels.co.uk is registered with enom.com .

You can find more information about your domain in this link.

This means it is not hosted with Wix but only pointing to Wix name servers.

To disconnect your domain from your Wix site, please ask your hosting company not to point your domain to the Wix IP address or disconnect it from the Wix Name Servers (NS1.WIX.COM and NS2.WIX.COM).

As Dina mentioned, Wix is not the host of your domain psalmistjewels.co.uk, if you would like to transfer this domain to 1&1 or change the name servers of your domain, you will need to contact your current registrar enom.com for further assistance.

Hi, I tried to use my own domain to switch it over to Wix.. I am at my 7 days waiting for it to switch.. however, I think I have a problem...

I got this message: It appears you chose the wrong connection method in the Wix Domain Manager.

I do not know what to do with the directions given and they don't make sense to me. also I have this message as well:

    A records for artistickb.com

None A record for this domain

    A records for m.artistickb.com

None A record for this domain

    A records for www.artistickb.com

None A record for this domain

    CNAME records for www.artistickb.com

None CNAME record for this domain

    NS records for artistickb.com

    ns1.wix.com
    ns2.wix.com

What can I do? I am confused.

Also, my email no longer works from Yahoo, how can I fix this issue so that my email will start working again?

      Hey,

Looking into your account I can see the domain transfer you have initiated is still in progress and pending registry approval.

Please allow more time to pass for the process to complete.

Once the domain is transferred you will be able to re-connect your email services.

Please note that connecting a domain to the site you have created with Wix is a premium feature and you will need to upgrade your account in order to make the connection.

You can now purchase personalized emails from Google Apps directly from Wix! For detailed instructions click here.

You can also use any other Email host you like. For general information please click here.

Note: If you are having problems with your current Email, please ask your Email host for the MX records. You can find step by step instructions here .

Let us know if you need additional assistance.

Please note that the email is supposed to be sent to your domain registrant email.

I checked your domain information on Who.is and it appears that your domain information is private which means that before we can transfer your domain, you will need to ask your domain host to remove the privacy from your domain.

After doing so, please initiate the transfer again, according to the instructions here.

Please note that you will be refunded for the failed attempt.

I've added the TXT record, but it appears as if it needs to be propagated properly first before the MX record can be added. Please try adding ms14809394.msv1.invalid.outlook.com to your MX records by following these instructions in a few hours -  the steps are provided here .

    Hello,

I am unsure of an issue but my website is not working whereas before it was. I handed access to my client on the 29th of April since you do not allow me to transfer the product with its premium setup.

Please inform me of any changes that were done since that date, as the Domain Hosting settings have not changed through my domain host and still list ns1.wix.com and ns2.wix.com

This is for the website goodequalityconstructions.com.au - please revert any changes that need to be reverted also.

Okay, first of all I already thought those details were correct.

I followed it up with contacting my registrar, and I can prove that right here: http://imgur.com/ud2Z30t

You specifically said 'your pointing configuration' which has me troubled, as Wix handles that side of things due to me using Nameserver configuration, not pointing (as pointing is less effective).

    Greetings,

I'm using Microsoft Office 365 and would like to use my domain with it, but first Office365 must verify that I own the domain name. To do this, I need to create a TXT or an MX record for my domain. Because your are my DNS hosting provider, could you please create the record for me? The records needs to include the information shown in the table below.

    ******

    Record type: TXT

Alias or Hostname: @ or csffacade.com.au

Destination or Point to address: MS=ms83651730

    TTL: 1 Hour

    *********

    Record type: MX

Alias or Hostname: @ or csffacade.com.au

Destination or Point to address: ms=83651730.msv1.invalid.outlook

    TTL: 1 Hour

    ****

    Thank you for your help,

      Hi Dima!

Thank you very much for updating our TXT Record. Please don't worry about the MX record, updating the TXT Record is sufficient enough. However, I have another request to make (pleaseeeee?). Can you please update our Name Server record as below:

      Name server1: ns1.bdm.microsoftonline.com

      Name server2: ns2.bdm.microsoftonline.com

Thank you for your great support,

The name server change can only be done by your domain host and will make all the records updated via Wix redundant since your host will become in control of your DNS records.

      Greetings,

Thanks for the reply. According to Microsoft Office365:

Name Server1 is currently pointing to ns2.wix.com

and should be pointing to ns1.bdm.microsoftonline.com

Name Server2 is currently pointing to ns1.wix.com

and should be pointing to ns2.bdm.microsoftonline.com

From your previous reply, are you saying that I should contact the company where I registered the domain name to make the changes on Server Name record.

      Please help...

      Thanks,

      Hi Rustu,

Yes, that's what you have to do if you want to change the Name servers. Please note that this will break up the connection to your WIX site - unless you connect to us via pointing as an alternative.

In order to see the IP address you need to point your domain name to and read the specific instructions on how to point your domain name please go here.

For more information on connecting your domain name to Wix please go here.

Please also note that once you point to us, the domain records will not be under our control and the respective MX settings will be under the control of your domain host.

      Best, Ritti
