I have also purchased the 365 support through GoDaddy, my goal is using MS365 for email support.

I have successfully completed all the instructions provided by GoDaddy except changing the final MX record.

The following is the input to and the response from the WIX system

    "thedubaygroup-com.mail.protection.outlook.com"
    Invalid email server

I have verified the statement above with GoDaddy, it is correct.  The MX record change is the final step.

    Can you help?

      Hello,

The MX record thedubaygroup-com.mail.protection.outlook.com is now successfully inserted in your domain records.

Please hold for 24 hours and let us know in case you still encounter issues with GoDaddy and Office 365.

      All the best, Or

    Hi,

i have a ms office 365 email and everything else is just fine but i cannot receive any emails, so i contacted go daddy support for help and they said that there is something wrong with my DNS records.

I just wanted to be sure that i got it right this time without having to wait 48 hours and find out that there is still something wrong.

Can you please help me with this issue?

Umm.. I'm confused. I purchased that domain from Finnish provider and got office365 service through go daddy. I thought that i should create those DNS records in WIX because you are hosting that domain now. Too many variables for my IT-skills, or lack of them.

Is it just too hard to write me a proper answer? Like i wrote earlier i don't have too good knowledge with these kind of things so you could guess that browsing through all of those pages just makes me more confused.

Please note that your MX records were set on Google Apps rather than GoDaddy.

I changed your records and saved.

In regard to the A records, please contact your domain host and ask them for the A records of your domain and email, so we can make sure they are properly set.

      All the best, Or

      Hey susandmiller,

Just to confirm, I can see that you set the default Godaddy records. Would you like us to remove them and add jpmobilenotary-com.mail.protection.outlook.com instead?

Thanks and we await your reply

Changed - you added it properly, however the first changes you've made had to propagate first before the MX record could be set up.

Just as an FYI, godaddy refers you to Wix as their MX priorities don't match.  Follow all the links in Wix to try to get an answer.  GoDaddy definitely provides a more user friendly customer support system than Wix does.

The links here are no better than the email directions you listed (which is the standard email GoDaddy sends out and should help with most providers).  This support topic is not going to help, at least it didn't help me.  Just have to wait 24 hours for the support line to return the phone call. Wow!

      Hi,

Please elaborate on what you're trying to achieve, and provide us with a detailed outline of the steps you have taken until this point, so we may replicate the process from our end in finding a solution.

-Where do you see it on your site, i.e. what page?
-What component in the editor is causing the problem (i.e. text box)?

*Please include screen shots, if possible.

Thank you for your cooperation and we await your reply.

@jlepropertiesltd, You will need to contact Office 365 in order to get step by step directions on how to set your email up. Wix does not offer Email services and doesn't host Email accounts. You can use any Email host you like.

If you are having problems with your current Email, please ask your Email host for the MX records. You can find step by step instructions here.
