Please note: In order to connect your domain purchased by Wix, you will also have to purchase one of the packages that include connecting your domain.

    Hi Wix team!

    I'm having some trouble connecting my newly purchased domain to my Wix site. Can someone take a look and provide me either with some simple instructions on doing this or let me know what I'm doing wrong? Here is my info:

    Wix purchase domain: sideofslaw.com

    Wix site that I want to connect with it: Side of Slaw

    The issue is that when I click my account > domains > already have a domain > and then type in the info... it keeps telling me there is an error? Maybe I'm clicking the wrong buttons. 

     

    Any help would be appreciated :) Thanks!!

    i am having a hard time setting up the google apps and the emails. i know on your end it may look connected but i am getting no emails . i also am getting no emails from my website contact page... google says they need to verify the domain.. on your end it says domain not registered when it was purchased through you. I want only one mailbox and i want it to be kim@sweetslicesforyou.com.... the website through you is sweetslicesforyou... i need your help..i want to set up the google email app so i have one email....kim at my domain.... i need to make sure the domain is registered as wix says its not and google cant find it..  ..and then how do i get the contact me page on my website to actually go to me . i have cleared my files and it still does the same.

      Hey, 

      At my end i can see your mailbox. 

      You can access it easily by going to Manage Premium -> Mail Boxes -> Go to My Email Inbox.

       

      You can also sign into your mailbox through Gmail.com. Simply enter your entire Google Apps email address, including @mydomain.com, and your password.
       

      If you have more than one account, please click the Add account button to sign in to your other account(s) and you'll be able to, conveniently, switch between them.

    I just fired off a reply to you about getting my wix site connected to the internet. I just figured it out all by myself but it took me almost a month. It should not take that long. If I received a phone call in the first place like I wanted a couple of days after instead of an email response that I didn't understand in the first place it would have been fine. But now I am almost out of a months time! Customer Service with Wix SUCKS! You need to provide better service with the product and service being sold.

     

    Also, I know I told you about this, but it needs to be fixed, it really does. It's completely annoying everytime to go to the website www.wix.com for whatever reason to http://www.wix.com/stunningwebsites/400?utm_campaign=af_shopathome.com&experiment_id=af_shopathome.com_new&experiment_id=3882850391&afsrc=1 page popping up instead of the page you want to go to!

    Hi, I have tried to connect a wix domain to my six site that i have just published.  I cannot get it to work, can you please contact me, as when i type in my domain www.krazykiosk.co.uk it keeps bringing me back to the "you're almost done" page

      I have visited your domain and I see it is correctly directed to your Wix site. Your site works perfectly!



      If you are still having trouble viewing your site, please try doing the following:

      1) Go here and click on "Delete all sites".Then clear your browser's cache.

      For step-by-step instructions about how to clear your browser's cache, please follow this link.
      You can also find a video tutorial here.

      2) Try to Flush your DNS. For detailed instructions on how to do so please go here.

      3) Please go to the Windows start menu->click on 'run'-> select the first option: 'Run'-> type: 'ping yourdomain.com'->A window will pop with an IP address. Please run this test from several computers.

      For Mac users: Go to ‘Application’ then open ‘Terminal’ and type: 'ping yourdomain.com'->A window will pop with an IP address. Please run this test from several computers.

      -If you receive an IP address on your computer other than the IP you see here and you see this IP from other computers please contact an IT expert in your area for further troubleshooting.

      -If you receive a different IP than the IP you see here from multiple locations, please send it to us in order for us to check it.

    Dear Wix, I have bought a domain name  from wix and i have got the premium account but i tried to connect it after reading all the instructions, I am losing time now, when I am trying to connect my domain it says delete the configuration!!! what does that mean, can you tell me simple how and what and where I can connect my website HELP PLEASE.  aci-bcn.com

    please note it appears automatically as the name of the website has changed to Domain Name : aci-bcn.com

    but it still not working.

      Dear this is all what i can see, and I payed more money to buy the name from wix in order not to have the instructions you send i am not a programer i needed things to be simpler can you please cancel every thing and send me my money back.

      Hello,

       

      Your site is live and connected to Wix, no need to program :) You can't access the site on your computer because of a local error. In most cases, this is just a problem with the browser storing a cached version, and not an updated version, of the site.

       

      To fix this, please clear the browser cache. You can follow the instructions above, or press Command-Shift-Delete when in Chrome.

    I just purchased my domain through your website in order to connect to my premium site/account, it's been hours now and I haven't received a confirmation (or email) or connection to my site, how long does this process take? My credit card was already charged, thanks!

      Hi Chris,

       

      I see that you currently purchased a Combo Package.

      After you purchase your Wix Premium yearly package (Combo, Unlimited, eCommerce or FB Unlimited), simply go to "My Account" -> "Manage Premium" -> "Vouchers and click on the voucher link next to your package under "Free Domain".
       

      Click here for detailed instructions about how to claim your Wix domain. When claiming your free Wix domain, simply follow the steps in this link to purchase a domain. In the purchase screen, you will see an option that lets you choose your free domain gift. You will see the discount applied to your total before you complete your purchase.

      Thanks for your response, but I am still having trouble. I purchased a domain from you guys for $14.95 (1 year), and my credit card was charged...but I have not recieved a confirmation or my website has been connected to the domain I bought, please help!

      FYI  - I purchased a monthly subscription, it appears you only offer the free domain voucher for the yearly subscription.

      I see that a Combo monthly upgrade was purchased, but not a domain name.

    I bought a combo, free Domain incld for a year. Now I like to publish the site. The name of the sitewill be 

    http://voorntamara.wix.com.dominic. That is not the Domain name I have chosen. 

    Why can't I use my Domain name?

    I have registered a domain name with Wix, but I want to have people directed to a non Wix website when they type  in the domain name (gracedwellness.com)  how do I do that?

      Please note that it is not possible to change the name servers of a domain name purchased from Wix. You may either transfer the domain away from Wix, or point the domain to a different IP address.
       

      * If you have purchased a Wix domain, but have decided to transfer it away from Wix, you can do so easily by following the instructions here.

      Important note: In accordance with ICANN rules, you cannot transfer your domain to another provider until 60 days after you register or transfer your domain.

       

      * To point your domain to a different IP address, you will need to modify the domain's A records. You will need to contact your new host and request for the relevant IP address. For more information about how to edit your A records, click here.

    Hello Wix ,  My name is Mareia, I've just set up my site mauibluepoolcare.com. I understand it would take 72 hours for my domain to be seen in the search engines (if this is correct). I just wanted someone to take a look at my site to see if everything is running properly. I'm in the process of setting up my SEO for appearance in Search Engines,  Let me know if I did this correctly. Response is greatly appreciated.       Your site is up and running.

      Please make sure to fill in your site and page meta data (title and description). If you do not want there to be any change in the browser bar when your site is loading, simply make the site title and home page title identical.

    We've purchased a premium domain - remarkble.biz @ 6 April 2014

    We followed the link 'To connect the domain to your Wix site, click here and then click "Change" to change the Wix site it is linked to." in the email.

    The following is displayed - Domains connect to - N/A

    Then we clicked "Change" but Point your domain displayed showing 0-0 of 0.

    We have a site created and published, namely http://911handymark.wix.com/911handymark

    Why can't we link the site to the premium account?

    We also bought and email addy. How do we set thsi up in Outlook. We receive no feedback via email. PLEASE reply urgently!
