You can now purchase your domain directly from Wix! When purchasing a domain from Wix, your new Wix domain will be automatically connected to the Wix servers. Connecting a domain to your Wix site has never been easier!

If you already have a domain from another domain hosting company, please follow the steps provided here.

Please note: In order to connect your domain purchased by Wix, you will also have to purchase one of the packages that include connecting your domain.

    So I had a previous account with Wix and signed on to it and bought a domain name. When I went to build the site, upgrade and then link the domain name, I realized that the domain was bought under a different email address on Wix and now it won't let me connect the page I built and upgraded with the domain name I bought a while ago. 

    Please help me figure out how to connect the domain I bought under an old account, with the premium account I built with the new account. Both are on wix.com.

    I am not able to connect the domain that i bought on wix to my wix site. 
    Please help. 
    I keep getting prompted to upgrade my account to a premium account with monthly fees.

      Our records confirm that you have purchased a domain name from Wix, however, it appears that you are currently using a free Wix account. In order to connect your domain name to your Wix site, you will need to upgrade to one of our premium plans.


      The following premium plans will allow you to connect your domain name. For more information about each plan and the additional services that you'll receive, please see below:


      Connect Domain Plan ($6.90/month):
      This plan enables you to use your own domain that you have purchased from any domain registrar, but does not remove the wix ads.  You can store up to 500 MB, with 1 GB bandwidth.
      Combo Plan ($10.95/month) or for the yearly plan $99:
      This plan includes connecting your domain and removing the Wix ads from your site. You can store up to 1 GB with 1 GB bandwidth.
      Unlimited Plan ($15.95/month)or for the yearly plan $149:
      This plan includes connecting your domain and removing the Wix ads from your site. You can store up to 2.5 GB with unlimited bandwidth.
      eCommerce ($19.90/month) or for the yearly plan $194:
      This plan includes connecting your domain, removing the Wix ads from your site and using the eCommerce feature. You can store up to 2.5 GB with 5 GB bandwidth.

    How do I link my site which was designed on wix to the domain i had bought on Wix..??

    I have a site designed and ready to go on Wix (http://rajuharish.wix.com/hrphotography). I also have a domain that was purchased on wix (harishraju.com). How do I link this new site to my domain.? Both are on Wix.? Please help.

    The response is not satisfactory on this. How can I tell who is my registrar? I thought i was dealing with wix only. Its on your website I made payment. How can I tell if Network Solution is my registrar or others. Please help fix this problem of my domain not pointing to wix.

      The domain that you have tried to connect to your site was not purchased from Wix.


      According to the domain's WHOIS information, the registrar is Network Solutions, although it may have been purchased from a Network Solutions reseller. Unfortunately we cannot provide more information regarding this. Please verify whom you have purchased your domain from - you can contact Network Solutions - then follow the instructions in order to connect the domain to Wix.

    I just finished designing my site, saved and click upgrade, I purchased the domain securesystems.com, paid and had payment confirmation, then the troubles started. I cannot browse the site! I don't know the registrar I thought everything resides at Wix, trying to set up I am being told THIS DOMAIN DOES NOT POINT TO WIX! please help fix this, I am not in for this hassle. A preview of my site is showing in Domain summary, next is check connection, remainng NON. Please tell me what went wrong and and put my site online please.

      Your pointing configuration in your registrar (not Wix, but your actual domain host) is incorrect. If your registrar is Network Solution click here, otherwise here

      I purchased www.mtnhwybaptistchurch.com from Wix, and it keeps saying "pending registry approval" what do I do now??

      Hey  ryansmith827,


      The status "pending for registry approval" is normal in the transfer process. Your domain registrar is supposed to approve the transfer (you have already approved it).


      The status of the transfer is supposed to be updated in your Wix account --> my account--> manage premium --> domains.

      You are also supposed to receive an email notification in the email account connected to your Wix account.

    Hi Wix team!

    I'm having some trouble connecting my newly purchased domain to my Wix site. Can someone take a look and provide me either with some simple instructions on doing this or let me know what I'm doing wrong? Here is my info:

    Wix purchase domain: sideofslaw.com

    Wix site that I want to connect with it: Side of Slaw

    The issue is that when I click my account > domains > already have a domain > and then type in the info... it keeps telling me there is an error? Maybe I'm clicking the wrong buttons. 


    Any help would be appreciated :) Thanks!!

    i am having a hard time setting up the google apps and the emails. i know on your end it may look connected but i am getting no emails . i also am getting no emails from my website contact page... google says they need to verify the domain.. on your end it says domain not registered when it was purchased through you. I want only one mailbox and i want it to be kim@sweetslicesforyou.com.... the website through you is sweetslicesforyou... i need your help..i want to set up the google email app so i have one email....kim at my domain.... i need to make sure the domain is registered as wix says its not and google cant find it..  ..and then how do i get the contact me page on my website to actually go to me . i have cleared my files and it still does the same.

      At my end i can see your mailbox. 

      You can access it easily by going to Manage Premium -> Mail Boxes -> Go to My Email Inbox.


      You can also sign into your mailbox through Gmail.com. Simply enter your entire Google Apps email address, including @mydomain.com, and your password.

      If you have more than one account, please click the Add account button to sign in to your other account(s) and you'll be able to, conveniently, switch between them.
