With Wix, you can connect your domain to your Wix creation so that when visitors type in your domain they will automatically be taken to your site! The Domain Manager allows you to update your domain details (located in Subscriptions > Domains).

    I HAVE ALREADY SET UP MY DOMAIN ON THE SITE - RealEstateYvonneLouise.com - It has been a few months since I started the site and now hope to finish.  I purchased email through GoDaddy today where my domain is.  I want to know how to set up communications on my site now with the CONTACT OR COMMUNICATIONS page and Button or just add it somewhere on Home Page.  I keep getting all the same instructions to do what I have already done awhile back.  This is crazy - - keeps telling me to go to Domain Manager and I keep asking where is it?  HELP

      I'm not sure I fully understand your question. Please explain what is the thing you're trying to achieve, so we'll be able to further assist.

       

      As for your domain, to connect it to you Wix site, please visit this tutorial or view the video below. The connection may take up to 72 hours to take effect.

    Hi,

    I have some Q's, we are planning to replace our modem and need to reconfigure our entire network. So, in the process of replacing the modem, do our wix website affected also? is there other option you can help or assist me to let our internal or outsiders still can access to our wix website through our domain without need to off our domain and re-link again with our wix web?

      Hello,

       

      As your Wix site is hosted with an external hosting service (Wix or otherwise), replacing a modem should have nothing to do with your site's functionality.

    Hi

    I created a site on wix and purchased premium package. I already have domain name (international). Its is (www.naharproductions.ae)

    When i go to manage domain to make pointing and i click on advance advance. It does not work. How can i make wix site pointing to my domain provider?

      Please go to My Account > Domains > manage (under the domain www.naharproductions.ae), change (on the top right bar ) > select your Wix site.

      Note that once you point your domain to Wix It may take up to 72 hours for the changes to fully propagate throughout the systems.

    I seem to have created two accounts?  My first account with my website is the one I want to have.  However, I cannot access the first account now, which has a Premium package.  I can only sign into the second account which has no Premium package or mailbox.  Can you help me straighten things out?  Thanks in advance.

      Hi Tal at Wix Team.  http://www.nativestarquilts.com/ is my domain.  It's my understanding that a premium package cannot be moved to another Wix account. If so, then I want to delete the account that does NOT have a premium package....  However, I'm having problems signing into my first account that has a premium package.  I can't see it under "My Account" in the account without a premium package.  

      The email address I am using is nativestarquilts@gmail.com.  I have a hard time signing into Google using diane@nativestarquilts.com email address, however.

      Hi Tyler,

      You're going to have to contact your previous host - FTP is merely a protocol that allows you access to their servers for file transfer, but it is still their server. We do not offer FTP services at this time.

    I have separated mailserver and webserver and I have been having them for several years now but since wix asked me to change my name servers I have been having problems either getting my emails or connecting to my website! 

    Would you please help me?

      Dear Allreza,

       

      Please contact your email hosting company and ask them if there are MX records or any other records that need to be added in order to get your email up and running. If there are missing records, please add them to the Wix Domain Manager in your Wix account. If you are having trouble with updating your records, please forward us your host’s reply (with the records) and we will make the changes for you.

       

      In the Domain Manager, you can add MX records, A records, CNAME records and TXT records.

      I have contacted ipage and they have asked me to:

      Contact Wix.com and ask them to provide with the IP address to point the domain A record to them so that the emails work fine.

      So would you please provide me with the IP address for domain A record?

      Thank you for your help.

      I had my host point my domain to the IP address you have provided me but still I can not see my website on the internet! 

      I have also asked them to change nameservers to NS1.WIX.COM and NS2.WIX.COM but they say if the do so I would not be able to access my emails for 24-48 hours! 

      I am desperate and I really need to put up my website and at the moment I am losing opportunities! 

      I did not have any problems previous years that I still had my website with Wix but with the changes Wix has made I have been facing crisis for over 3 months now! 

      I am really dissatisfied!

      Hey,

       

      I am terribly sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties, testing your domain configurations it seems that your domain host (not Wix) have set up the records incorrectly.

      If you do not want the downtime and to re-set up your email service with Wix after you make the connection then you should use pointing to connect your domain to Wix.

      To solve the issue please follow option 2 on this page.

    Hello! We have Wix Premium and are trying desperately to connect our www.globalocean.org.uk domain to http://fatema9.wix.com/globalocean.  In the manager it says that it has applied… but if you type in the original www.globalocean.org.uk it says Website Not Found. Please could you help?

      Oh, and a small issue lies in that we do not have details on who the registrar is of the domain name..

      Effectively error is being caused due to a connection problem in the NS of your domain.

      You should get in touch with your domain registrar (Heart Internet Ltd t/a eXtend [Tag = EXTEND]) and request NS records to be changed to Wix's:

      ns1.wix.com

      ns2.wix.com

    Hi there! I have bought a premium package, and **I think** my domain is connected to Wix.  When I enter my domain, which is http://www.izakayagoma.com, it points to Wix's site which is http://izakayagoma.wix.com/izakayagoma

    Is this the extent of the "pointing"?  That is, people who visit my domain will forever see http://izakayagoma.wix.com/izakayagoma on their address bar?

    How do I make it such that the address bar appears as http://www.izakayagoma.com?  Via DNS record 'pointing' at my domain registrar (CrazyDomains)?

      Your name server is not set to Wix. Please contact your registrar and change the name servers to Wix.
