Transferring your domain name to Wix:  *This feature has not yet been released to all users.*  You can currently transfer only domains with the following extensions: .com, .org, .net, .biz. and .info. You can transfer your domain from another registrar to your Wix account. To transfer your domain, verify that at least 60 days have passed since your registered or last transferred your domain and make sure that your domain is unlocked.     I have been trying for 3 days now to link my domain (from freehosting.com) to my site here on wix.com. It is really giving me a headache! Wish the process was easier to link. Not the best computer tech, but even this puzzles my brain. Please help!

      I can see that the Wix account that you are currently using (email address topnotchbeautysupplies@yahoo.com) is a Free account. If you would like to connect your domain to your Wix site under this account, you will first need to upgrade this site with one of our premium plans as connecting a domain to a Wix site is a premium feature. For information about our plans, click here.

       

      Once your site is upgraded, click here for step by step instructions on how to connect your domain to your Wix site.

       

      If you are still unable to properly connect your domain to Wix, please provide us with the domain name and we will be happy to further assist.

    I have been trying to set up (via pointing method, and yes I am aware that this is not preferred) and verify that my website [wctedance.com] - is there any way you could take a look and see what I am missing, if anything?

      I can see that your domain wctedance.com is properly connected to Wix using the Pointing method. I have also accessed your Wix site using this domain and was able to view it live properly. Have a look at the screenshot below: 

      Please note that it may take up to 72 hours for the changes to fully propagate for all locations. If 72 hours have passed and the issue persists, please clear your browser's cache and check again. You can find step by step instructions here.

    But how do I know if it has been set up properly, I have been trying for 3-days. I purchased a premium plan through wix and am using go daddy as the host. Can you pls check my sites status and advise? it is clevermarketingstudios.com

      Hi!

       

      I can see that you have properly assigned your domain to your Premium site, however, the pointing configuration with your registrar isn't updated with the Wix name servers.

       

      In order to complete the domain connection process, please ask your hosting company (where you purchased your domain name from) to point your domain to the Wix server using the following cnames:

       

      ns1.wix.com

      ns2.wix.com

       

      Note that once they have made the changes, the domain can take 72 hours to fully propagate.

    I need a help of WIX support team. I tryied with a manager of my domain to connect the domain with my wix site, but there is some technical probelm. So, he advices me to ask the WIX team if all information about my website are correct. Easily saing, we tryied everything what we can to connect it, but no chance.

    Hi there. I am struggling to connect my domain (from CrazyDomains) to my Wix shop site. Have upgraded, have had ownership of www.sweetrockgem.co.uk confirmed, have organised transfer to Wix from Crazy, have now waited 4 days but nothing happening. Please advise. Thank you. Anutka

    Hi, I am trying to connect my domain www.horncastle.com.au using Wix as the name server, however when I check it tells me "unknown host", and now my site is not working at all. As I'm paying for Google advertising I'm concerned about too much downtime, but I'm not sure what to do next to resolve this issue.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi, i purchased a domain from register.com and i want to connect it to my premium wix site. What options do I have? If i transfer, it tells me i need to wait for 60 days before doing so. If there another way I can have my new domain point to my website?

    Hello,

    I using own domain with suffix .cz (www.kadernik.cz). It´s possible to connect it to Wix website?

    If not, do you plan extension?

      Hi!

       

      Sure you can! What you could do, is to maintain your existing domain subscription and simply have it point to your Wix site! This means that you'll continue to pay your local domain host for the domain hosting and they'll control your domain records, but the domain will be directing your viewers to your Wix site.

       

      What you could do, is to maintain your existing domain subscription and simply have it point to your Wix site!

       

      To connect your Wix site to your domain, you will need to upgrade to one of the following premium plans:

       

      - Connect Domain Plan (this plan does not remove Wix ads)
      - Combo Plan
      - Unlimited Plan
      - eCommerce Plan

      If you have already purchased a domain from another hosting company, click here to learn how to connect it to your Wix site.

       

      In order to complete the process, you will need to ask your current hosting company (the company you purchased your domain name from), to point your domain to the Wix server using the following CNAMES: ns1.wix.com & ns2.wix.com.
