To upgrade from a monthly to a yearly plan: Sign in to your Wix account > from the My Sites page, next to the relevant site, click Upgrade > select the yearly plan.


Note: If you upgrade from a monthly plan to a yearly plan, any remaining credit from your monthly plan will be deducted from the price of your yearly upgrade.

    I incorrectly chose the monthly plan instead of the yearly plan.  How do I change it.

      As explained in the best reply at the top of this thread, you can upgrade simply by going to My Sites -> click on Upgrade next to the relevant site and upgrade to the yearly agreement of the same plan.

    I noticed that an upgrade to a yearly plan one is able to receive a 50% discount for a year.

    How would I do that ? Do I need to delete my premium site  and start over?

      Simply go to the 'my account' page, click upgrade, choose the Unlimited yearly package and complete the payment process.

    Hi I upgraded to a premium package but only realised I can only have one website per upgrade. Which package would allow me multiple websites on different domains.

      Hi NAsheena,


      I'm afraid no package currently allows this. Each package you purchase can be assigned to one site only, this is true to all Wix packages.


      If you are a designer and intend to create multiple sites, note that we have three great options for designers.


      The first option is to become an affiliate where you can earn money on revenue generated from your site to Wix. In other words, if you direct new users from your site to our site, we will compensate you for everyone who ends up upgrading to Premium. Find it here.

      The second option is to become a Wix designer. You will be granted access to the Wix Pro Directorywhere we will direct new clients to your services.

      The third option is to join our Resellers Program, where you can create sites for your clients using Wix, and receive commission for every site that will be upgraded to premium. To join the program send your request to resellers@wix.com.

    hi i purchased monthly payment though would like to change it to a yealry payment i havernt had the website for a month yet so will i be charged the difference? what do i do??

      In order to upgrade from a monthly payment to a yearly payment, please go to "My Account" -> scroll over the document you want to upgrade -> click on "upgrade".
      The system will charge you for the difference between the monthly payment and the yearly payment.

      That's no problem!

      Simply go to My Account -> scroll over the document you want to upgrade -> click on "upgrade". You will be charged for the difference.

    So quick question...If I switch from monthly to yearly for the entrepreneur/freelancer package, do I just pay the remainder of whats left for the year if I have already been paying for a few months. I am just trying to get clarification.

    hello, concerning the yearly plan, are you charged the full $149 or the money is deducted from your account monthly?

      Hey chiijere,


      If you sign for a monthly agreement, the contract length is one month and you are automatically billed on a monthly basis.
      If you chose the Yearly agreement, you will get charged one time for the entire yearly amount. At the moment we only accept the following payment methods: VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover.  You can find more information here.

    I had an e-commerce plan. Unfortunately, my expenses are exceeding my revenue.


    I would like to degrade to the free package.  How do I go about  doing this?

      You can cancel your package at anytime, however you are only eligible for a full refund within the first 14 days after purchase. Cancelling a package after the 14 day trial period will stop the automatic payment. You will not be charged in the next payment period: Monthly plans won’t be charged from the next month. Yearly plans won’t be charged from the next year. Your package will remain active and available until the end of the term that you had paid for.

      To cancel your Premium package:

      1. Sign into Wix.com.
      2. Click My Account.
      3. Under My Account, next to Manage Premium, click Billing and Payment.
      4. From Billing and Payment, next to your package, click Manage.
      5. Next to Next payment, click Cancel.
      6. Follow the steps in the pop-ups that open.

      Your Premium package is cancelled.

    I would like to upgrade to a yearly package.  I just realised that I have paid yesterday for the monthly package.  If I was to upgrade to the yearly package would I still pay the full amount or would the monthly fee be refunded please?

      When upgrading to the Yearly subscription, you will receive a partial fee depending on the cost and type of your new package.

    I bought a premium package last night and I would like to get my money refunded as I am extremely unhappy with the service I have received and even more unhappy with the "socialpoll" app I had purchased through wix. I would also like my money back for the app that I am told, after purchasing, that I will not be able to remove the facebook subscription link, which it stated would be removed after purchasing. My invoice says I had made payment to wix so I would like to have that money back as well since I believe it was misleading that the ads would be removed after purchasing. Once again I am very upset with this service and I would warn anyone NOT to purchase the "SocialPoll" app on your wix site. it doesnt work and you won't get any of your money back. waste of time and money. Please tell me how I can get my refund so I can go elsewhere, and find apps that do not cheat you out of money.
