To update your payment details: Sign in to your Wix account > at the top right of the page, hover over the user panel > click Billing & Payments.

Next to the relevant plan, click Manage > next to Payment method, click Update payment method > update your credit card details > click OK.

    Our first year of membership expired on August 9. I neglected to note the change in our school's credit card, so you were unable to deduct the membership fee for the new year. I just went in and changed the credit card information. Is there anything else I need to do?

      Hi seasmn,

      I can see that you were successfully charged for the yearly premium plans renewal (the unlimited plan for the site named 'seasmn'). 

       

      Please note that to be sure, you can view all of your premium plan invoices. To view your invoices:

      Sign in to your Wix account > at the top right of the page, hover over the user panel > click Billing & Payments.

      Next to the relevant plan (or domain), click Manage > next to Invoices, click View Invoices > click the invoice to open it.

       

      Please let us know should you require any further assistance.

    I am trying to change my payment details and it wont let me because it wants a 'Security Code'.

    I do not know what this is or where to find it?  Can you help me please as my payment is overdue.

    I want to update my payment details to include the billing to my company in Portugal, but when I enter the fiscal number 509247938, Wix doesn't accept it and returns an invalid number message.

     

    Please tell me How can I bypass this, because this is actually the company's fiscal number.

      Hi Hugo,

      Thank you for contacting Wix support.

      If you are located in Europe and have received an error message stating that your VAT ID is invalid, it is likely that your VAT ID does not validate on the VIES tool of the European Commission. Please check that your VAT ID is valid on the VIES system

       

      If your VAT ID is not valid, please leave the VAT field blank, or contact the taxation department in your country of residence to find out why it is invalid.

      If you have a fiscal number that is not an intra-community VAT ID, you can enter it on the company name field and it will be displayed on your invoice.

    The update billing info you provided does not work.  The other suggestions in your replies do not work either.  Have tried on 3 different computers and have done the same on 3 different computers - NOTHING WORKS and Wix does not provide around the clock support nor does it reply promptly to questions.

      Hey,

      Thank you for contacting Wix support.

      I've checked your account and see that the service was cancelled due to a chargeback which was performed on Jul 1,2014.

      Because your bank took back the funds, the service was automatically cancelled for non-payment.

      A chargeback is a direct reversal of payment through one's bank or credit card company.

      Only the customer, the bank and the credit card company can initiate such a reversal. For example, the customer may reverse a charge by getting in touch with their bank and asking for a chargeback to be issued; or a bank might issue a chargeback if not enough funds were available on an already-completed transaction.

      Often a chargeback is initiated if a customer’s credit card was used fraudulently.

      While issuing a chargeback, heavy fines are incurred on the company that billed the customer. Instead, the customer should have made contact with the company and asked for a refund.

       

      In order to reinstate your premium features you just need to upgrade your site again.

       
      To upgrade your site, please go to My Sites > click Upgrade next to the site that you want to upgrade.
       
      You can find detailed information about our premium plans here.
       
      Please note that we never remove/destroy websites.  If you go back from premium to free you’ll simply have your original Web address and Wix ads but you will still have full control of your site.

    I too am having problems updating my card information. Each time i update it with correct information nothing happens after i click ok...then i get an email to update my payment. Im trying to get this handled before Wix suspends my website.

      Unfortunately, I am not sure I fully understand the issue.

      Are you having difficulties to update the existing credit card details?

       

      Unfortunately, it is not possible to compete delete the credit card details connected to an active premium plan, but you can change this details to a different credit card.

       

      To update your payment details: Sign in to your Wix account > at the top right of the page, hover over the user panel > click Billing & Payments.

      Next to the relevant plan, click Manage > next to Payment method, click Update payment method > update your credit card details > click OK.

       

      For more information on updating your payment method, click here.

       

       We will appreciate if you could elaborate on the matter, so we can better understand the issue.

    This information is NOT correct. I am trying to update my payment information, and there is no link or button that says "payment method." Please advise.

      I can see that your premium plan has been cancelled due to payment issues. In order to reinstate your premium features you just need to upgrade your site again.

      Viewing your account I can see that the charge went through successfully. 

      To view your premium plan (or domain) invoices: Sign in to your Wix account > at the top right of the page, hover over the user panel > click Billing & Payments.

      Next to the relevant plan (or domain), click Manage > next to Invoices, click View Invoices > click the invoice to open it > press Ctrl + P to print the invoice.

       

      Note: To save the invoice as a PDF file, after pressing Ctrl + P, next to Destination, click Change > select Save as PDF.

    I have tried to update my credit card information, I need to delete a card and put in another. The box where I put in the number of the credit card is not available to be typed in. Therefore I cannot change my information.

      Hey Rosemary,

       

      Please note that the first entry in the update billing box is the card number. It should appear with XXXX-11111 (where 1111 stands for the last 4 digits of your previous card).

      Simply overwrite this data with your new card number.
