    Hi Wix,

I have just purchased a premium account - throughout the buying process it stated a free domain was included in the premium account. After purchase, when I was registering my domain I discovered I had to buy a 2 year subscription to a .co.uk domain. I feel this is misleading as I shouldn't have to scour your website to find this out, it should be made clearer that some websites will incur added costs.

I bought it anyway, however when I go to set up my emails I find out that is not included either. The wording on your upgrade page is this:

    Does Wix offer email services?
Yes, you can set-up your own personalized email address powered by Google Apps. To set-up your email, you first need to purchase or connect your own domain. Every mailbox comes with a custom email address, 24/7 customer support, mobile device management, and the disabling of Gmail Ads. Enjoy amazing Google Apps like calendar, drive, and more. With an inbox capacity of 25GB and 5GB of drive storage space, you’ll never run out of room.

To get your email, go to My Account> Select the Mail Boxes tab> choose a Plan and set up your own email!

This is clearly misleading wording, that implies that once I have purchased a domain I can set up an email. It never mentions once that I have to purchase something else.

All things considered I feel Wix has tempted me into a premium package and then sneakily emitted some products, with clever wording, to make me buy them at extra costs later. I hope you can make this right, but if not I shall be cancelling my contract and seeking website design elsewhere. I don't mind paying money for a good service, however deceitful business practice will never keep my custom.

    Sincerely,

    Jack

Replied by Nikolai August 8, 2014

      Hi Jack,

      Thank you for contacting us.

Regarding your .co.uk domain purchased for two years, this is a Nominet.org.uk policy, which is the domain name registry in the United Kingdom. You can read about this in Nominet.org.uk Terms and Conditions for domain name registration, under Duration, renewal and transfer, if you follow this link.

I apologize that you find the Mailbox information misleading. However, in the Mailbox tab under subscriptions, once you click Add Email next to the domain name, you will see the Plans for purchasing a Google Apps Mailbox through Wix. In addition, when you review the Premium Plans available here and which services they include, unfortunately, none of them mentions a free personalized Mailbox.

Please contact us if you require any further assistance.

      Nikolai, Wix team

      Hi,

How are you getting cut off? We never intentionally cut off callers. If you are not able to schedule a call, please try using another browser in order to do so.

You can contact us by phone in one of the following ways:

      1) Click this link to select a time to speak to an agent based on our availability and call volume.
In order to meet the needs of our rapidly growing Wix community and to continue to deliver the personal and professional service you've come to expect from us, we now offer a scheduled call back service. Scheduling a call with a Wix Product Specialist also allows you to ask your question in advance so that we can come prepared. Call slots on the scheduler will be shown in your local time, based on the clock of the computer you are using to schedule the call.

      2)  Call 1-800-6000-WIX (949) to speak to a live agent (or 415-639-9034 for non-US callers). Our call center is open from 6am to 5pm Pacific Standard Time. Entry of your user ID on our phone system will help us to process your call better.  Please note that wait times may be longer on non-scheduled calls.

Please let us know should you require further assistance.

Kind regards, Or - Wix Support Team.

      Hello bbree30,

Thank you for contacting Wix support!

It seems that the Menu Bar text color is set to white, while your background is also white and that is what makes it look like the menu disappeared. In order to rectify this, from the editor just click on the Menu box and enter the Settings > Change Style > Personalize this Menu.

From there change the Text color so it will be different than the background color of your page.

Feel free to contact us should you require any further assistance!

      Kind regards, Amit

    hi there,

A couple of weeks ago i started designing my website using one of your templates and saved it under 'shine' however i cant seem to access it now and have a feeling thats due to me not creating a login or password before i started designing the site. is there any way you can find the site i started designing so i am able to finish? or is it lost for good and have to start again?

    thanks

      Hello,

Unfortunately there are no sites under this e-mail .

If you use Firefox or Chrome, and you allowed your browser to save your passwords, you can try to retrieve your login details:

For Firefox, go to Options --> Security --> Saved Passwords.
For Chrome, go to Options --> Personal Stuff --> Manage Saved Passwords.

Please feel free to contact us in case you need further assistance.

      Hi tribecca2,

      Thank you for contacting us.

Please go to your scheduler again. You will be prompted that they can not schedule a call because you already have one scheduled. The option there is to cancel the call, or to modify the details of the existing call.

If you require further assistance, please let us know!

      Thank you,

If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know!

      Thank you,

      Hey teresarinne,

You can reach us by telephone in a number of ways:

      1) You can select a time to speak to an agent based on our availability and call volume by visiting this link.
In order to meet the needs of our rapidly growing Wix community and to continue to deliver the personal and professional service you've come to expect from us, we now offer a scheduled call back. Scheduling a call with a Wix Product Specialist also allows you to ask your question in advance so that we can come prepared. Call slots on the scheduler will be shown in your local time, based on the clock of the computer you are using to schedule the call.

      2) Our call center is open from 6am to 5pm Pacific Standard Time.
You can call 1-800-6000-WIX (949) to speak to a live agent (Callers outside the US can call 415-639-9034), Entry of your user ID on our phone system will help us to process your call better.  Please note that wait times may be longer on non-scheduled calls.

VIP users: Please be sure to enter your user ID when calling directly. This will allow us to direct your call to our VIP team.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know!

      Thank you,

      Eyal, Wix Customer Support Team
