How do I cancel my Wix Premium upgrade?

    If your decision to cancel your upgrade is due to one of the following reasons, we would like to assist you in troubleshooting your problem:

     

    * Are you unable to connect your Domain Name to Wix?

    Problems connecting your domain can be frustrating, but we are confident that we can find solutions to any connection problem.

    Take a moment to try and solve your connection problem using our Wix Domain Troubleshooter here

     

    * Are you unable to connect your email account?

    If you’ve recently managed to connect your Domain Name to your Wix website – but now cannot send/receive emails, don’t panic! This is easy to solve!

    You’ll find clear instructions on how to connect your personalized email here

     

    * Cannot see your site on Google or have other SEO concerns?

    Wix sites were designed especially to suit Google and all other search engines.

    We suggest that you firstly use our SEO monitoring tool here

    Also, please keep in mind that it usually it takes anywhere from 1 to 3 months for Google to update its database.  You can be sure that we are doing everything we can to make sure that your site is crawled by Google.

    @crisselga,  you can cancel your premium package at any time via Manage Premium under My Account. You can find more information here . Once you cancel your package you can cancel your account.

    Please contact your domain registrar with anything regarding to your domain. 

     

    @miklavcicsimon, try clearing your cache here and then canceling another time. If this error displays again please let me know.

    I managed to cancel my account in a bit different way. I hate to say that but WIX would really prosper a lot more if Apple would give a proper Flash support or WIX would have a lot more efficient Mobile web site. I am saying that as most of my customers uses iPad's to reach my website and I just can't afford to own a flash based website though I liked all the simplicity offered by WIX.

    Now about the PROBLEM:

    I don't quite understand what to do next. I directed my domain hedgie.net to point to DNS of my host. Everything works fine if I type WWW.HEDGIE.NET/INDEX.HTM in the browser. But if I type only WWW.HEDGIE.NET it still redirects to http://216.139.213.144/. I cleared my cache, reset router, try different ISP even mobile but nothing changes. I have no clue. Does this has something to do with meta data?

    Another question: What happens to the Google Analytics account after cancelation of WIX Premium. It stoped showing the traffic.

    @miklavcicsimon, Wix works on all browsers and applications that run Flash. Some Apple devices such as iPods and iPads do not support Flash yet. We are aware of this and are working on a fix.

     

    I am checking your account 'miklavcicsimon' now and I do not see any saved documents in it. I also see that your Combo Monthly package has been canceled due to payment problems. Is this the account you are inquiring about? Or do you have a second account with us?

    I managed to solve my problems. I forgot to delete a redirection towards WIX IP in my webhosting control panel. For now I managed to set a new website http://www.hedgie.net based on HTML.

    I hope we will meet again in future.

    I had a domain name which I purchased here when I set up my account.  I didn't see anything that said if I cancelled, I wouldn't be able to use that domain name with another website for 60 days.  Now, I'm dead in the water with nothing.  I have someone building my website and I have to pay for hosting some other place, but I can't even use the domain name I bought through wix.  I was even told by a wix employee that I owned the domain name but I can't use it for 60 days.  What the heck?  Someone show me where it says that when I bought it or cancelled it.  I've looked everywhere.

    Please note that all domain hosting providers have this 60 policy and not just Wix.

    How to I down-grade from Premium to basic?

    I would like to take my site from Premium to Basic again, but i can't seem to figure out how to do it.

    I keep getting an invoice overdue notice for  Invoice 09-2011-1682517. I'd like to resolve this as soon as possible.

    I would like to cancel my Wix Premium upgrade - Cupcakestomka  And leave the Premium to only in  Tomka - Center

    I sent an email to the address exactly as it says here but just returned and said not accepted.


    2. The shop of Tomka - Center Still inactive in Facebook even after the upgrade. why? what should I do?

    @kschaff, I am checking your account and I see you still have an active Combo Yearly Premium package attached to your domain and site 'ontheverg.com'. To downgrade your premium, you will need to cancel your package via My Account > Manage Premium > now cancel your package and upgrade to the one you want. Or you can completely cancel your Premium and your site will revert back to its Free status, with the Wix domain and Wix ads.

     

     

    @debiuziel, Please log in to your account > go to My Account > Manage Premium > under the package connected to your 'cupcakestomka' document, click CANCEL. You will no longer be charged for this Premium package.

     

    The reason your site 'tomkacenter.com' is not working properly is because you are using the eCommerce store but you have upgraded to the Unlimited package. You will need to cancel this package as well and upgrade your FB site to the eCommerce package if you would like to start selling online.

    Well I have somehow cancelled my subscription which i didnt want to do how can i re enable it ? this support section is very silly aswell all i wanted to do was ask a question but no I had to go through so much rubbish before hand :((   

    Im starting to become a bit annoyed with Wix im afraid

    In order to get your premium status back, you'll simply need to re-upgrade your site.

    Note: your current (the one you've canceled) premium status will remain until Dec 5th.

    I don't want renew my wix account and I use a html site about 1 month ago!
    I renewed my domain name but I didn't renew my wix yearly account! 
    And I don't want it!!!
    But the wix is transferred arbitrarily 99$ from my bank account!
    I didn't accepted this transaction nowhere!!!
    I never seen this kind of story!!!

    Wix send notification e-mails to the users two weeks before expiration of the yearly package in order for them to decide if they want to continue the use of the premium or to cancel it. If they cancel on time they are not charged.
    I understand that somehow you missed this e-mail.

    To cancel your upgrade please follow the directions below.

    When you have cancelled, please contact us and we can issue the refund.

    Please note that canceling your premium package by deleting the document attached to your premium upgrade will not suffice. You must enter Manage Premium, and cancel the premium package.

    In order to cancel your premium upgrade, please-

    1. Go to "My Account" -> Click Manage Premium.
    2. Click Cancel on the document you wish to cancel
    3. Follow the steps in the pop-ups that open.

    You will receive a confirmation email and your upgraded premium account will appear as "canceled" on your Manage Premium page.

     I do not really need the shopping cart function. So I would like to revert to the regular free wix. Thanks

    Maybe at some later point I will work on the site again and upgrade again.
