Amanda - if you just made the site - it will take a couple days to get it listed.

I cant return my site in google under any searches. The only time I can get to my site is by putting the whole name in i.e www.somersidephotography.co.uk.

I'm a premium user bt need access for clients via Google.

How can I check what's wrong and how Google ranks my site (when it knows it exists).

Hi there .... I had the same problem but then the next day it started to appear albeit about fourth down the list ... I think there may be a delay in upping it to the search engines database after you publish

Its now appeared, I think I had too many keywords or rogue character. I could have done with a bit more help in narrowing it down. There, that's me finished moaning. People dying in Japan and I'm moaning about having to do a bit of messing about on a keyboard.

Hi, My website is connected to the domain www.wycomberoofingrepairs.co.uk and i set it all up correctly with Google anaytics. It appeared in the top 3 for the first 10days but is now no where to be seen! can you help???

We cannot guarantee that google will crawl this information.

However, if google crawls your site, it should crawl this information (as it's in your site and in the source code).

@Adamburch. please click to read more about SEO. Google shows you results based on cookies as well- it is unlikely that your site would reach the top 3 ranking for any keyword within 2 weeks of being online. The odds are that your website showed up higher in the search results because google recognized that this result is more relevant to you.

my website www.djrubber.com has always appeared no.1 in the google search since i created it 1 year ago with wix. a few weeks ago it disappeared and i cannot find it in the top 30 or so pages in a google search. Why would it suddenly disapper? even if i browse all of my keywords it will not find it. most people would browse dj rubber or rubber stamped to find me but nothing.......... any ideas?

There are 2 important factors that have a big influence over SEO:

1. Google loves new content. You must make sure to update your site often with relevant content. If you don't update your site often, google will see your result as outdated and may rank your site worse than a website which does update content often.
 

2. Backlinks! You have only 8 backlinks, all from page rank 0 websites. Your goal is to get as many backlinks as you can, from the highest possible page rank sites.
 

The more backlinks you have, the more it means your site is being shared on the web. If people are sharing your website, then it is seen as more relevant and will receive better ranking in google.


In addition, you should read the 'best reply' of the thread and follow the instructions in the first link mentioned there.
