Hi asallie04,

You can create a landing page with Wix :)

To create a landing page, first duplicate your home page. To do this, click on the settings icon next to your home page in the Page Manager, and choose 'duplicate'.
The duplicated page will become your new home page.

The original home page will now be your new landing page- so all you have left to do is to design it as you wish, change the name (i.e. 'Intro Page'), and connect it to your home page with a button.

Thanks, Nicole,

      Hi,

Unfortunately it is not possible at the moment. You can try to incorporate their product via our HTML App. With the HTML App you can add your own HTML code or embed external sites onto your Wix site. For more information, click here.

We document and learn from every feature request and bug brought to our attention. These objectives are immediately high priority milestones in Wix's product road map.

Feel free to add your feature request to our Wish List by posting here.

    Hi Wix,

I own a software design company and I wanted to make "Account" landing pages for each of my customers BASED on their user account (Member Login). So for example, Customer A needs to log in and see his payment details and view his software downloads only for him, not for everyone else...I want his landing page to have all the links and his account info only but I need his landing page to be DIFFERENT than everyone else's. So basically like your normal account login.

So let's say you go to verizon.com and log in, you're not seeing everyone else's stuff, just your own page because of your login credentials. Is this possible? The members button is useless to me unless I can do this because I don't want my 'Support' section to show all the support for other companies I have made software for..

I hope I am being clear about what I am trying to do. Can you please let me know if I am missing something? I went to my account section and looked at a test user I created, but that test user did not have many options at all. It treated it like a contact.

I wish you would add an option per user where you can specify a landing page for that new member instead of just saying: "Hey he's a new member let's give him access to everything on the "members only" areas... Thank you in advance.

      Hi,

Unfortunately the members login is designed in a way that allows all users to access the same area. Currently it is not possible to separate this to different members.

An option that stands is protecting different pages with passwords which you can choose and provide each user the relevant password. It is possible to apply different passwords to different pages of your site.

You can  create a password login for individual pages on your Wix website!
      To do so:
      1. Go to the Page Manager (right of the editor).
      2. Roll over the Page and click on the drop-down menu arrow.
      3. Click Password from the drop-down menu.
      4. Type in a password and click Set. Don't forget to Save your document!
For more information on Pages, click here.

If you meant adding an option to log in to your site with a password - this feature is on our development roadmap and will be built in order of priority. Priority is based on the popularity of our Wishlist items, which is full to overflowing with your good ideas and feedback!

You are following instructions for a Flash website but you have an html5 website. Here are the correct instructions for you:

      • To create a landing page:

        1. Add a new page to your site (from the "Pages" icon button on the left tool bar -> "Add Page")
        2. Drag this page up so it is above all other pages.
        3. Add a button to this Page and link it to the next page of your website.

This page will now be your new landing page- so all you have left to do is to design it as you wish.

Please Note: The landing page is ready but objects may still show on it if they are set to appear on all pages, you can replace objects set to "show on all pages" by copying and pasting them on every page except the pages you wish them not to appear on.

      Hey,

You can add a member login button to your landing page and require your viewers to login to your site in order to view its pages.

To add a member login button to your site:

      1. From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon.

      2. From Add, click Apps.

      3. From Apps, search for Member Login Button and click on Add to site.

      4. Drag the Member Login Button into place.

      5. Click it and click Show on all pages.

A member login button is added to all of the pages of your site.

To set which of your pages are members-only and for more information about members-only pages, click here.

To comment on and vote for additions and changes to this feature, click here.

We have also released our Protect Page feature!

You can find instructions and information here or check out the video below:

    Hi,

Is it possible to make a landing page with a different background than the rest of the website? For instance, my entire website has a white backgroung, but I would like for the landing page to have a black background... I think normally all the website has one design, but if anyone know how to work around this, it would be great!

    Thanks!

      Hey    meli144,

Currently this is not a possibility.
The background of your site stays the same throughout your site.

This item is already on our wishlist. You can check for updates  here.

You can try adding a single image placed as the background of your landing page.  You can find more information  here .

Note: you can only upload .jpg, .png, and .gif files up to 10MB.

      Thanks,

      Gill, Wix Team

    Hi prennyabs,

It is not possible at this time. However, we thank you for your feedback. Feel free to add your feature request to our Wish List by posting here.

Meanwhile, you can copy the element you want to show on some pages and paste it on the
    desired pages using ctrl + ' c ' and ctrl + ' v ' .

@  i43680, If this solution does not suit you, or you have a desgined picture you wish to put as a landing page, simply make sure it covers any other buttons or text you have showing on all pages, and bring its' layer forward, like this:

I have the same question, how do you make elements appear on all pages except for the landing page?

    Hi there.

I've created landing page by duplicating the homepage as you instructed above.

However, for the design, I've had to cover up all of the repeating page elements.

And they show up as the landing page loads.

You can see this happen: www.cultureislife.org

Can you please advise on how I can fix this?

    Thanks

@jre2421, sure you can do this! You simply want to create a landing page, then add only the 2 links you want to this page. You can add the links via an image, text, etc.

For example if you place 2 images on your landing page > link 1 image to the inner pages of your Wix Site > and link the other image to an external URL.

Can you have a landing page that lets the visitor click on one of two pages-- for instance if you offer two services, the person visiting the website can click on one service and see one website or click on another service to see another website, like this: http://www.custommadeproductions.com
