I have to say that the main thing I use wix for was for my imvu website. I think its great that things that were -once- imbedded can still lurk there...but that is all they do, lurk there. I had a grammar error in the profile page I made and now I hit 'save' or 'publish' and the new version doesn't show up. I have wix profiles for my other websites and now they are unable to be edited in a way that shows up on the page. I know this helps the integrity of the sites to help them run better perhaps? But I would rather a sketchy profile that I created on your program that is a bit glitchy than to be unable to fix my profile and embed it. This change is horrible, and I hope you know that. Thank you for your time. <3

      Hi xxrumpleteazerxx,

Please note that while embedded sites are not supported, if you have embedded your Flash site in the past, the old embed codes can no longer be supported for updates and modifications. They will still remain visible, available and working on your website - as they are. To continue to update the embed code, simply change the embed code on your site to the following template:

      <iframe src="http://YOUR_SITE_URL" width="WIDTH IN PIXELS" height="HEIGHT IN PIXELS" scrolling="no"/> For example: <iframe src="http://mysite.wix.com" width="400" height="300" scrolling="no"/>

If you need any further assistance in the future, please let us know.

Hello! Thank you very much for getting back to me on this. I was able to use that to help me a great deal, however...I have another website I made my wix for (which I hope to use to replace the site) and HTML doesn't work...only CSS. How do I do this with CSS instead of html?

      Hi xxrumpleteazerxx,

Unfortunately it is not possible to add custom CSS to your Wix site at the moment as this would require editing your site's Html code. You can insert an Html code to your site using the Html Widget.

*Take a minute to read through the Known Issues & Limitations of the HTML iFrame/Embed App via the link above (in the section 'Understanding the Known Issues and Limitations of the HTML Widget') before using this.

If you have any further questions please let us know.

Wix will no longer have me as a user in site of the lack of coding for embedding Webpages I've created to Imvu. It was fun when it was there now its gone I have to go find another site to create all my beautiful work of arts for Imvu. Good Bye Wix your dumb for taking the coding and embedding away from us. I will be sure to share with all those of my friends not to come to this sad site for any reason.

    Hi alexa-bold,

Please note that as mentioned above, Wix does not support embedding anymore and does not offer users who embed Wix material into external sites.

We understand that this might serve a small percentage of our users but please understand that in order to provide you with proper support we ask you to correctly connect your domain to the Wix servers as this would guarantee the integrity of your site’s design and layout.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I hope the creators of this website realized their losing more people because of the fact they do not support flash websites such as IMVU.. which is sad because i love this website. please change it so we can copy/paste the embed code to out homepages and it would get a whole lot more traffic flow through wix.

Wix does not offer support for users who embed Wix material into external sites.
In order to receive proper support we ask you to correctly connect your domain to the Wix servers as this would guarantee the integrity of your site’s design and layout.

In addition, please bear in mind that Google Analytics and search engine crawlers can only work properly with your site when your domain is correctly connected to our servers.

This sucks that you can't embed wix into imvu anymore. I tried using the flash one and still can't embed...I am done with wix what I got on it for I can no longer do...Sorry wix but you are probably going to loose lots of users due to this change.  Using wix on imvu was awesome it let us personalize our imvu pages.  I hope you get the embedding back soon.

    Hi letthembe,

    Thanks for the feedback.

We've recently removed this feature, however are still allowing previously embedded sites to continue being embedded.

If you need any further assistance please let us know.

I still have an embed code to add my flash wix page to imvu page. And it's still working.

So wix team, wix pages cannot be embeded is a wrong statement.

    It can be.
