    Good morning,

When I go to the ecommerce templates it says "Price: ecommerce" where my other 2 sites said "Price: free".  How much is the ecommerce price?  Please let me know - thank you!

Does the fee come from the sales on the site? Or is it always a monthly fee despite if there are no sales that month?

      Hi cherylatsimplicity,

We do not take a cent of your sales! The upgrade you purchase will provide you certain premium features and this is what you pay for, per month or per year, regardless of the activities in your online store.

Does it require an upgrade to the eCommerce package, or is an upgrade to any of the premium packages sufficient to unlock the template?

you can use any template including the online store templates, but if you which to use the eCommerce features then you will have to upgrade to the eCommerce package

You have an eCommerce premium which is $15.90 per month for the first 6 months and $19.90 per month thereafter.

    Dear Jo,

What do you mean that we can "use the eCommerce template for free?" I do not intend to activate the shopping cart feature when I publish my website - does that mean my website will be free?

This means you can add eCommerce elements (such as product galleries, shopping cart, etc.) for free. You will need to upgrade to eCommerce only to activate your Checkout button, otherwise you won't be able to use the store to make sales.

Upgrading your site has other advantages, too, such as removing Wix ads from your site (in the Combo, Unlimited and eCommerce) packages, being able to connect a domain to your site, using Google Analytics and more.

Thanks for your prompt response, Michal. I will most likely choose the plan that removes ads. Another question - in Preview Mode, in the Product Page that pops up when you click a product in the product gallery, is there a way to change the small images of other photos of the same product from "Crop" to "Center"? Thank you.

      Hey  kevinyin1221,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the the image scaling for the images placed at the bottom part of the product page.

You can use the eCommerce template for free, but to activate it you will need to upgrade to a premium package.
