Can't figure out how to actually "vote" on the wishlist - so this post is my vote.

Can I verify my wix website with Yahoo site explorer? is this available yet? my client is asking me....

Unfortunately this is still not available.  We will let all of our users know when it is.

All you need to do, is allow a custom meta tag. Right now you only allow title, description and keywords.  If you allowed a blank meta tag where people could name the tag and place yahoo's code into , then yahoo would verify.  That shouldn't be to hard to do, and then you could take this off everyone's wish list.  IE: <META name="y_key" value="yahoo's code" />

We are aware of what is needed in order to make this possible. It is important to note that making any change that affects 10million+ users needs to be complete and tested. The UI needs to work properly, and there are many implications for adding even a 'small' feature as this.

This feature is still not available. We will notify all of our users when we release it.

I'm waiting for Yahoo verification too. It's August now, I hope soon we'll have it.

Its refreshing to know that site verfications and meta tag features are in the future

I just clicked publichs on my new wix site and I got a message from wix suggesting me to include my website in Google, Yahoo and Bing... I can't include it in yahoo nor bing because of the verification thing. Even though its still on the wishlist.. I wonder why you guys actually suggest the users to do something which is not possible... its just confusing.. I've been hours trying to find a guide in the wix seo support about how to include my website into yahoo and bing s.e. 

Anyway, I'd like to vote for the meta thing solution for yahoo and bing too.

I vote for the Yahoo, Google, etc verification thing as well.   I've got my site up and ready to go, and can't verify a darn thing.    Read alot of post about this issue.   Hopefully for 2012  !!  ???    :-)   Happy New Year  !

Has this been addresed yet, still can't get my 3 websites to be verified by yahoo and bing. I should think that something as important as being searchable on toe of the major 3 search engines would be a priority!!

If you want to submit your site to search engines that your site becomes searchable - please use the links at the bottom of this section (right before Additional steps). Just for your information Yahoo and Bing search has been merged and Bing now controls the search database, so you only need to submit your site to Bing!
