It is impossible to use sites from the "Explore" section as these are real sites made by real users. As their name implies, they are just examples of how elaborate and impressive a Wix site can look.

The editable templates can be found under the "Create" section of the Wix site and are available for use.

I saw an example of a website by Tomer Feder Photography on your "Explore" page this morning. How can I use that as a template?

im confused why you guys have less attractive templates under create versus the ones under explore tab..when do you add more templates? and can we request a certain template to be added to the create section

Please note that these sites under the explore section are sites that were created by our users and that is why you can't use them.

There is a page turning feature on http://www.wix.com/maurice_jacobsen/gaza-v4#!__home that I want to use on my site. How do I get that feature?

To add this feature, do the following:

Add -> Page parts -> page groups -> More

There you will find some page group with the turning pages.

Under Explore menu I found 2 sites which I like, being http://www.wix.com/thehouseofexcellence/house1 and http://www.wix.com/bgulati/iit1 but neither are available under the Create menu. Please help me to access them under the Create menu to make a final choice which one I want to use.

I like Todd Stewart Willis design, can I get that template to design my site from the explore?

No, unfortunately templates can be found under the Create page, under the Explore page you have examples, these are sites made by users such as you to show you the potential of every user using Wix, as it is a site by someone it cannot be used as a template.

The question which has been repeatedly asked by potential customers is... Can the sites seen in the Explore section be used to create?  In other words, which create template was edited to create a specific site, eg; I like the Explore site by Louise Shrigley.  Which template did she start with?  I don't wish to duplicate her site, just begin with similar parameters.

It is impossible to determine from which template a website was created once it has changed.

It might as well been created from a blank template.

The only way to do this, would be to contact the creator of this site and ask him.

How do I contact the creator of an Explore template to use as my own - one was made in 2008 and I would like to contact them to see if they will allow me to use it.

Unfortunately we cannot connect you to a different Wix user. What you can do is contact a designer and ask fro something similar to the site on the Explore page.
