If you do not wish to use Wix to create your site, you can use a different website creator. If you have a domain at a different domain registrar, simply point your domain to wherever you would like to host your website. 

If you have a domain hosted by Wix, then you can point your domain to a different website builder in order to have your domain hosted by them.

I have the following question: currently I have a website built in WIX but it does not show up in the Google search results when I enter some key words in the search bar.   Would domain registration solve this problem, so that my website appear in the search results?

Wix is search engine friendly. Your ranking in google is related to your SEO of your site.

If you bought a domain that included or was relevant to your keywords it would boost your rankings.

I read through this thread but I can't find the answer I'm looking for.

I am working on a web site for a friend.    He already has paid server for about the next year with Ipower.com

I also have my own paid server for the next 6 years with Bluehost.com

I have dreamweaver and Web Expression4 but I really like the results I get from  WIX.

Do you have a program where I can design the pages with WIX but upload and host them on a different server under our current website addresses?

Making your site easily searchable on search engines is not a trivial matter. You can make your site visible by working on it's SEO (search engine optimization).

Hello, I just signed up with bluehost.com and had bought my Domain through them.  Is it possible to create a website through Wix and use it in Bluehost?  I would love to use Wix templates and design and be able to use bluehost....and how would I go about doing that if it's possible.
