It is not possible to get the root directory for your Wix site.

My web page used to have a facebook button that connected to my facebook page. 

Now since using facebook by wix I cannot figure out the URL to post it to link it to my website...Help pretty please?

You should visit your Facebook profile page and copy the URL in the address bar, then you can paste it as you create the link in your website.

When I spoke to someone on the webchat function - she mentioned an ability to have the Wix team design my website, host it and get the premium package all in one cost. Having read the above comments - is this not possible?

@robvickerman, this was a temporary test that we ran, but the option is not available at the moment. We may offer this option again in the future.

I am trying for days to get some help with my website. Is there any body out there that can HELP !

I have created a website with wix a need to use my own domain www.bartletts.nl

I have followed all the instructions and sent the standard message to the host however they keep  receiving the following message from WIX  :
