Please enter your new account information and log in. From here, go to the Create button and choose to start with a template or to create your Wix from scratch. Roll over your selection and choose Edit to start your design.
Start by choosing the background you want. You can now play with the Editor freely. You may customize any chosen item by clicking on it and changing it with the property panel on the right side of the editor.
Remember to click Save at the end.

I am a newbie and quite unaware as to how use the editor for my choosen free template.Can anyone help me in fixing the text if I provide on my choosen tempale using the editor.

Secondly can I make money by fixing banners or affilaites on this wix free template and can I put third party widgets on this template.

Hi,

To edit a template from the Create page, simply roll over the template > click Edit > edit the template.
Please note: The Explore page shows templates that where made by Wix costumers and are not editable.

You can add an HTML widget  Komoona: A nice widget making it easy to sell and buy ads and banners on your website. A website owner may use this widget to offer designated space on his website for banners or ads. Visitors to the site are allowed to quickly buy these spaces and set up their ads. The website owner then approves the ad and it is published on the site for the agreed-upon period of time. www.komoona.com

I DONT SEE A CATEGORY FOR ME WHICH IS AN ASSIMILATION OF ANTIQUES, ODDITIES, ONE OF A KIND PIECES THAT I HAVE COLLECTED AND CONTINUE TO COLLECT.   EXCEPT WHAT I SAW IN YOUR HOUSE AND GARDEN SECTION,  WHICH IS GRACIES ANTIQUES.  LOTS OF ONE OF A KIND JEWELRY AND ALSO REPLACEABLE PIECES (CAN REORDER).. KIND OF COMPLCATED BUT WILL BE EXTREEMLY INTERESTING AND WILL CHANGE ALL THE TIME ACCORDING TO WHAT I FIND.  THANKS LINDA

If you are not able to find the exact design you are looking for, please note that you are able to add/remove/modify any feature to make any template suit your needs.
You will be able to change any background picture to whatever you choose.

The great thing about our templates is that you can customize any template so completely that it can end up being any kind of website! For example, you can choose a template from the "Design" category and create a website for Accounting Services!

I would recommend you to start with the "Photography" category on the "Create" page but you can choose any template that you like!

I have a few questions.  I'm looking to develop a site for myself that will be for personal branding.  I've been coming to understand that, "Engagement" with potential clients should be the focus and thus a Wordpress site is highly recommended.  I've found the many Wix sites I've viewed to be visually stunning and highly functional.  So I'm kinda torn, I guess.  I want the Engagement opportunities of a blog on a visually stunning and relevant Wix site.  So, my first question is, Is that possible?  (without linking to a second blog site)  

The other question is, I have registered domains at another host.  I don't want to pay for two hosting accounts. (i.e. the second with Wix to just link to the other domain host.)  Can I transfer my domains to Wix and cancel my other host account?

My last question for the moment (a buying questions btw....;)  )  As a background image, at least for the front page, I would like to have a developing fractal.  Could that be achieved?
