    After i received 100 facebook likes to my page i created with Wix i was asked to create a username and did so.  After i created a new username all the comments below my wix page were erased.  I would like them back on my facebook page. 

    Also the comments don't seem to work like facebook comments as they have a reply, is this desired?

      Please send us the URL of your Facebook page.

       

      I am unsure I understand what you mean by 'create a username'. Was this prompted by facebook? Please also specify which comments were erased (on which tab did you see them?).

       

      Please send us a screenshot of the comments you are referring to.

      After a facebook page gets 99 Likes they are asked to create a username.  In my case ActivatedVillages.  So when you tell people how to find you you can mention the name you chose.  I imagine this created a new facebook URL for the page with the Wix page on it(the Welcome & Info tab). I had some good content on that page already and i would like to get all the comments back.

      Also, will there be more challenges with the new facebook page layout coming at the end of March or will there be no problems with the layout?

      There is a reply to my question about the new Facebook fan page timeline.  But the original question i posted two weeks ago about the lost comments has not been addressed.  Could someone please contact me about this.  I'm wondering if Wix is unstable and if i will be losing content in the future.

      We apologize for the delay in reply regarding this matter. The Facebook plugin works fine, apparently the comments themselves are stored on the Facebook side and not the Wix side of the application, as such we believe this is a technical problem on Facebook's behalf. We apologize for the inconvenience and disappearing comments.
