Hi blackbettyrocks,
I checked your account and noticed that the reason why you're having issues opening your website is because you haven't connected your domain to your site neither through name servers nor through pointing.
Our name servers are NS1.WIX.COM and NS2.WIX.COM.Please follow the steps provided here.
Note: When connecting your domain to the Wix nameservers, you must enter them with your domain registrar as well as on the Wix side.
Both these steps are essential, without a step the nameservers will appear as if they are not working.
DNS is the management of your domain – i.e. you use it anytime you point your domain to an IP address, redirect emails to your email host or connect different subdomains to different servers.Pointing your domain to the Wix IP means that your domain host retains control of your DNS and simply points your domain to the Wix servers.
The difference between pointing to the Wix IP or connecting with name servers is really a difference in who has control over your DNS – Wix or your domain host.
Please Note: Wix does NOT Recommend Pointing
Instead we recommend connecting your domain to Wix using Wix name servers.
Why?
Down time when Wix IP changes:
The primary reason we recommend connecting your domain to Wix using Wix name servers is that the Wix IP address might change in order to prevent your site from going down. This happens from time to time when natural disasters, server problem and other problems occur.
In such events, domains connected to Wix by name servers will automatically have their DNS records updated. However, domains that are connected to Wix by IP pointing will not work until you request the new IP# from us and then manually make the changes with your domain host. This will result in a much longer down time.
Less support & assistance: When you connect your domain to Wix by nameservers, we can offer support and assist you in creating any DNS records you might need. Whereas if you connect to Wix by pointing you would need to contact your domain host with any domain/DNS related issues.
Feature updates must be made manually: We can automatically modify your DNS to accommodate any new feature that requires DNS changes (like WixMobile, and any other possible features that we might release in the future). When choosing pointing you would need to manually make these changes with your domain host.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.
Sincerely,

My site is doing this as well. I've tried all the suggestions listed in this thread and my homepage is still not working. We have a paid marketing campaign happening to drive traffic to our site, and I'd like to fix this ASAP.
This is the message:

Hi Zaina,
I apologize for the inconvenience.
Can you try connecting directly through the modem, and not through the router?
Please also add wix.com and *.wix.com as trusted domains in your internet security programs and in your router/network firewall.
Let us know if this works for you.
Thanks,

Problems loading Wix.com or Wix sites are virtually always a local issues.
Your site visitor shouldn't experience these problems whatsoever.
In case they do, the steps above should solve the problem.
As for mobile, you find all the information you need here Information about Wix Mobile

How do you expect us to utilize your site if your product fails to load. I have a client expecting a product on Wednesday and I cannot afford or require his clients to go through a bunch of steps to make your FLASH site work! I can't even access www.wix.com. What is the deal! Who is going to reimburse me for the hours I have spent working up his site. Does hosting improve this? Where is the solution to work with iPad/iphone/mobile… -

chrisgaskell2010,
Please try clearing your cache and deleting all your flash cookies and then try again. Also, try connecting directly through the modem, and not through the router. Does this work for you?

Similar problem for the last month. Missing component type [picture] I have been able to access this part of your site via a link you gave me, but from here I cannot access my account or your home page. I am using a home pc on a wifi network.
The first time the problem occured I was able to access my account via another pc on the same network, I then recompiled my site and everything was fine for a week, then a week or so later I had the same problem but this time I was unable to access the wix site from any pc on my network.
I hadn't realised that others were having similar problems!
