Why can't I edit/save my wix site?

    There could be a few reasons:
    1. Please logout your account and go here .Please click on "Delete all websites". After that please try again.
    2. Disable your pop up blocker. You can find information here.
    3. Try switching your anti-virus off when working on the editor and see if it works.
    4. Try using a different browser
    5. Try editing your document through another computer and see if it works
    If it still happens, please send us your user name and Email you registered on the Wix site.
    Please also send us the name of your document.

    Can't edit

    Hi - I currently have a website that I have created and upgraded to premium . I am trying to set up a second site but everytime I find a template that I would like to edit, it opens up a new window, but then doesn't go any further. I have the latest version of Flash plugin in Firefox. What could be wrong?

    Unable to edit

    You ask what happens when I try to edit?

    From home I am unable, I have a laptop The donwloading wheel that saids the percent next to it, stips at 16% and It wont move from there. Already try to upload flash, delete cookies and using moxilla as a browser! PLEASE HELP!

    I dont' edit my premium site by wix-site

    I have upgrade my site on Premium buta now is impossible edit the site by wix-site.

    Please try clearing your cache and deleting wix.com from your flash cookies and then try again.

     

    Are you able to click edit from another location? We had responded to your email, but you have yet to check it and respond to us there.

    ok, i give...

    If i go to wix.com or my site (resistthecurrent.com) ...i get a white screen, status shows 'Done'

    I've cleared my cache, cookies and website storage settings as mentioned above, still nothing.

    Been like this for several days ....don't know squat about website stuffs ....so any help would be appreciated.

    Hey Diane,

     

    Can you try using a different browser?

    Can you try to update your flash player?  Please go to the following link to download the most recent version.

     

    How do you connect to the internet? Via a router? Via  mobile broadband modem? Directly through the modem?

    Can you try connecting directly through the modem (non-mobile), if you are not doing so already?

    My edit page will not load

    For some reason when I try to edit, it stops at 1% and I can't get to the edit page.

    I had a problem like this once - the editor stopped at 1% in all browsers.

    It seems I solved it with the Flash Settings Manager: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html

    by allowing (more) storage at the site or 3rd party storage (I'm not sure)

    Hi Smtest,

     

    That's correct- you simply need to allow at least 100kb for the flash storage settings, allow 3rd party cookies, and not check the 'never ask again' box.

    I can't believe I just spent 5 hours making a site for myself..I saved it a few times and at the end. I went to look it up and all that is happening is a blank black page comes up...please tell me everything i did didn't just get erased?

    @katiefawn, I am checking your site 'standifer' now and I see you have two Master Pages in it. The first Master Page is empty. The second Master Page has some content on it. Please log in to your editor and click on your second Master Page named 'Master Page 1' via the Page Manager on the right side.

    i can not edit my site, it seems to only load up to 91% and then it gets stuck :(

    Wix keeps giving me the error "Server Error Code: -10 Description: An unexpected error has occurred," I've tried deleting cookies and using different browsers and computers. This happens every time I try to save. Thank you!

    When I try to edit my site & add new products I usually click on the duplicate button.and add more stock.  When I tried to do this it is not duplicating. Why

    I checked out the problem and I was able to duplicate all the items. 

    Try and logout  from your account and go here .Please click on "Delete all websites". After that please try again.

    If the problem persists please provide us with more details as to what error you are getting if any and on what items.
