This feature is on our development roadmap and will be built in order of priority. Priority is based on the popularity of our Wishlist items, which is full to overflowing with your good ideas and feedback!
You can keep up to date with what features are Coming Soon here.
You can also vote for this feature here .Please note that you can use google webmaster tools by verifying through DNS records. However, we don't provide support for this yet:
1. Enter your webmaster tools cpanel (control panel) and click on 'verify your site'
2. Choose the TXT method
3. Enter your domain manager
a. If you connect to Wix via DNS, this is the Wix Domain Manager
b. If you connect to Wix via Pointing, this will be your domain hosts DNS management
4. Create a TXT record. Enter the value given to you by google as the content. Use either @ or leave it blank for the first field (where you can fill in ___.domain.com) - whichever one applies to your domain host. Try both- only one should work
5. Return to your google websmaster tools and check to see if the verification worked! This can take up to 48 hours to verify correctly, but usually should be done within the hour.

We're working on this!
Please be patient! If you're still interested, you can use google webmaster tools by verifying through DNS records (google asks you to create a TXT record). However, we don't provide support for this yet. -

@Maurmanus- currently this isn't possible. We don't support any of these tools yet, but you can still verify via DNS. Perhaps Yahoo will add a DNS option?
@Kim- Sure thing! Here you go:
1. Enter your webmaster tools cpanel and click on 'verify your site' (or domain... i forget their exact wording)

I will also voice my support for making Google Webmaster Tools usable on Wix. Many people, myself included, use domains that do not allow for the DNS records options. Wix will be a better service once it functions with Webmaster Tools.

Ya plzzz.... enable webmaster through wix.....
i have godaddy and i try the TXT DNS option it still does not work.
mega tag, also does not work thru wix, bcoz the sign '<>' is not supported in the setting . so it turns really frustrating at times...
so plzzzzzz get it done asap....

hey one more update to the wix team, i just called godaddy for txt dns thing and they said onces we point the domain name to wix, we lose control over the dns settings , i will to contact wix to get me through the dns setting.
this is getting more and more complicated everyday.

If you are pointing towards Wix than your domain hosting provider retains control of the domain, if you have used the DNS method than managing the doamin is done from Wix, through the manage premium area.
Pointing means that your domain host remains in control of your domain records. You will not be able to add, edit or create MX, CNAME, TXT and A records via your Wix account. Also, the amount of support Wix can offer in this regard will be limited.

Hi,
I can't connect through godaddy and wix to get webmaster tools.
This would be a neat feature...

We are working on it :) You can go through Etai's steps above to try to add this via your DNS settings. Just keep in mind that we do not have support for this.

Just want to echo request for others here. Eagerly waiting for this feature to be made available. Would the new feature support Yahoo Site verification?

Vishal, our first step would be to create this for google webmaster tools- as this tool is provided by google to assist you with your rankings on google (which is currently dominating the search market).
Once this is done, we will consider other options for other site webmaster tools.

@Etai, just wanted to say thanks. Read your note about leaving HOST blank (WIX domain manager initially did not accept the '@' for host?), and entering the google meta code into the TXT value worked for our site. Google Webmaster is working. Thanks.

My domain is with GoDaddy and site with WiX(naturally) .... so from the look of things, Google Webmaster won't work thru GoDaddy to a Wix site? and thus I should save my time and frustration and not even try ... correct!?!?!
