I am trying to add the RSS feed to the HTML app on the HTML5 site. I can only do this by using the URL option, which makes the RSS feed take up the whole page. How do I get the HTML of an RSS feed to make it look like an actual RSS window?

You can use our HTML app to embed the RSS feed of an external site onto your Wix site.

To embed an external code: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Apps > click HTML.

Click the HTML app to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Settings > under Mode, choose HTML Code > under HTML/embed code, paste the code > click Update.

We are here should you require any further assistance.

The UI hasn't changed, you are building an HTML5 site while looking for information in a thread that deals with Flash sites.

In order to add an RSS feed to your site, you will need to do embed it to your site via our HTML App.

Sound complicated but is actually very easy. Have a look at our new Interacitve HTML App tutorial.

Let us know how it went and if you require further assistance.

    Hi PhotoDiva,

    1. If you're looking to embed a twitter widget into your Flash site, you can find its code here, on the twitter site.

Once you've grabbed the code, simply paste it into your HTML widget on your homepage.

Please keep in mind that in terms of embedding HTML into your Wix site; the Wix HTML Widget is still in Beta. A beta version is the name for the second stage of software testing, in which it is released for our users.

The beta version of the HTML widget is considered to be a preview. During this stage, we are collecting feedback from users about the product's usability — what they like and what should be changed — before the product's full release and before we can offer support for it.

Currently Wix does not offer support related to the HTML widget. Also please note that Wix is a Flash platform and we offer support directly related to our product. By adding external HTML code you are adding products /code we have not created or tested. Therefore our Support team cannot answer any questions concerning HTML.

We have a tutorial with instructions regarding our various HTML options, and you can find all the necessary information on adding HTML to your Wix site here.

    2. As to the Facebook RSS feed, I was able to find this link in their help center. You can try to insert an HTML code into a blank widget. Though since this is an external feature, please note that we cannot fully support it.

Please don't hesitate to contact us again with any future problems or questions!

I have reviewed the tutorial to add RSS feed to the website. I'm interested in adding RSS feed from my Twitter and Facebook page. However when I watched the tutorial I see that under the widgets in the tutorial, it shows an icon for Twitter RSS Feed but I didn't see that option when I went to set up the RSS feed on my page. I went to the twitter page to and followed the instructions there to create a widget but it gives me a code instead of a URL.below:

    <a class="twitter-timeline"  href="https://twitter.com/MyNuEnVision" data-widget-id="257302731822342145">Tweets by @MyNuEnVision</a>
    <script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script>

Any suggestions on a better way to be able to add RSS feed to my website from my Twitter and/or Facebook page?
