You can add your shipping criteria through your PayPal account. When your customers click Check Out on your Wix site, they are directed to your PayPal page. The shipping that you set is then added to the total amount of their purchase.

You can find instructions for how to add shipping to PayPal here. Visit our eCommerce Learning Center here.

If you would like to manage shipping, manage your orders, add coupons, add taxes, and much more from the Wix Store Manager, create an Online Store on an HTML5 template. To see our HTML5 templates, click here.

      Hi,

Unfortunately, we do not currently support a "Cash on Delivery" feature for our online store.

Regarding the currency, currently, you can use PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, or Authorize.Net with your Online Store shopping cart. Brazilian users can also use PagSeguro (please note that this payment method is available for Brazil only).

To connect your merchant account to your store, click on Payment & Currency from Manage Store and choose a payment method from the drop-down menu. It is not possible to use a third party merchant.

For information about connecting your Online Store to PayPal, click here.
For information about connecting your Online Store to WebMoney, click here.
For information about connecting your Online Store to Skrill, click here.
For information about connecting your Online Store to Authorize.Net, click here.

The HTML Editor supports all languages and special characters that are supported by UTF8 which is a dominant character encoding for the World Wide Web. This includes Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Arabic, Korean, Greek, Russian, Portuguese, Hebrew and many more!

Simply type in any language you wish, no setup or configuration is required. The editor supports whatever language you have installed on the computer's operating system so make sure your computer supports the language you wish to type in and just go ahead and type wherever text is editable on your site.

You can add language support for additional fonts from the Fonts section of Design. Once you add a new language option, you can see which fonts support your language by editing text and choosing a font from the text editor bar.

When opening your Editor in Russian or Polish, the relevant language sets will be added by default.

      To add font language support:

      1. Click Design and then click Fonts.
      2. Click Language Support.
      3. Checkmark the box next to the relevant language set.

Choosing a language set will load the necessary symbols and encodings to supported fonts.

      4. Click OK.

We recommend that you only add the language sets that you need for your site. Adding all available options will heavily affect your site's loading time.

For information about creating a multi-language site click here.

Please note that we offer customer support in these languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Polish, Russian, Italian, Japanese and Korean.

Currently the HTML Editor is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Polish and Italian, Russian, Japanese and Korean.

Simply add the Wix eCommerce shopping cart ("Add" > "eCommerce" > "Online Store") to your site and when you're ready to sell, upgrade to the Wix eCommerce package.

I'm trying to finalize a Wix ecommerce site for a friend and I'm reading now that there is no way to calculate shipping on the site. These comments above are from April. Hoping there's a solution now????

      Hi  srgleason6,

Please note that this is the Flash forum, and your site is build with HTML. The answers are different in the two forums.

You can set shipping rules to your online store based on wight or the country to which the product is sent to

We've created an interactive tutorial on how to easily create your Online Store.

    Hello,

I just updated my site using your HTML editor, my only problem now is shipping. I cannot set up different amounts for different locations. Canada has different provinces and US have different states which are obviously of different distances from a shipping point which would consequently draw different shipping fees.

Your CHECKOUT prompts input for destination country and location within but can't seem to provide a way to satisfy the above stated problem. Please advise.

    thank you,

    Bong

      Hi,

When a customer buys sometihng in your store it is through Paypal. You, as the seller, will receive an invoice from Paypal with all the customer's details, including the address.

      Best regards.

    Hi,

My flash website e-commerce store does not have the shipping tab. I can't add a shipping rule based on country and state charges. Please add the shipping Tab to my editor.

As this is an urgent matter appreciate if you could reply as soon as possible.

Then what is the point in having an e-commerce store when you cant add a shipping charge to your store. This is really bad, Wix should disable the ecommerce store for flash websites; not wait for customers to build their websites. And moreover for the e-commerce store we have to pay a higher amount. Really disappointed !!!

      Hi Wix Team,

I'm well aware that I can add a shipping criteria on the paypal site and its only based on the price range. But it still does not fulfill my needs for what I paid for on WIX. A store without a shipping charge does not help at all, its a pure waste of time and effort. You should fix this immediately not come out with some answers involving a 3rd party. This issue should be made a priority. How can WIX enable a feature that is not complete and charge customers extra for that feature?

Did you consider re-creating your site in Html5? Html5 has a few great advantages over Flash, the main one being that it is viewable on mobile devices and smartphones, including Apple devices such as iPads and iPhones which do not support Flash. You can find some valuable and easy-to-read information and comparison between Flash and Html5 here

You can create your HTML site now by clicking ' Templates' and choosing an HTML template. For more information on how to get started, click here or check out the below video!

Hi guys, here's my question -I tin kit's siple but i can't fidn the answer!

I want to be able to give my customers the ability to add a shipping address before the transaction goes through (and maybe the option for a separate billing address and email. How would I do that?

    Thanks

    Andy

    • Nat

Replied by Nat July 17, 2013

      Hey Andy,

This is not possible through the online store, since Wix does not save your client's information. You can add a form for that, but it will be separate from the store itself.

Please don't hesitate to contact us again. Nat

I have created shipping criteria by weight. However in preview mode it triggers me to select a "ship to" location but there are no options here even though I have set the United Kingdom as the criteria. Please could someone advise/ check this?

Hi, I live in Ontario, if i want to ship something with in Ontario  it will cost me $x.xx, but if I want to ship to British Columbia, it will cost me a different amount, how can i change the shipping cost per province and state

When you add Canada to your shipping rule, a message is displayed showing that all 13 regions and territories (wrongfully referred to as "states") are selected. Clicking "Manage States" allows you to select specific Canadian regions.

You will need to create one rule for Canada > Ontario for $x.xx and another rule, or multiple rules, for other regions.

Please let us know in case these instructions were not clear enough.
