Currently, you can use PayPal or Google Checkout with your eCommerce shopping cart. Brazilian users can also use PagSeguro (please note that this payment method is available for Brazil only). To connect your merchant account to your store, click on Checkout Settings from the property panel on the right of the editor and choose a service provider from the drop-down menu.

Your customers can also purchase with a credit card without having a PayPal account, for instructions on how to set that up with PayPal, click here.

Why would you do this? Paypal is far too expensive on transactions. So sadly I won't be using your services.

You can try to add an external shopping cart with our HTML feature.

Please note If you are using the HTML to make a direct profit, you must upgrade to at least a Combo package in our Premium upgrades.

you really need to sort out this payment issue for ecommerce users, i have been using your ecommerce for 1 yr, waiting for this to change,.,,,

i have just found Magento.... if you can allow me to you another, or even chose my own payment method, you will lose my custom, and i am sure other will follow... you need to compete with Magento's Ecommerce secition... 

id rather stay wix, so please sort this out!

Its 2011 and I looked online and 100 's of people have been asking for the same things from this company and nothing happens. Wix does not care about their customers

I'm sorry you feel this way.  We do care about our customers, which is why we made this new support forum to be able to assist you better (and we're still improving on it).

We create our features based on how highly they rank on the wishlist, and based on how many users would benefit from them. For example, we recently [last few months] created:

-'Add Page' layouts- when you click 'add page' you can now choose a layout, so your design process is even faster and simpler!
-HTML5 sites for mobile (to be released very soon)
-Deep-Linking to pages inside your site

the wix coming soon has not been updated since Q4 2010 either!

Thanks for letting us know- I've forwarded it to the relevant department.

This Paypal monopoly thing is just ridiculous. I'd like to give my customers the option of paying by bank deposit but that's not even possible!! Not everyone wants to join paypal or even use a credit card online. I would have joined up ages ago if you'd put this little feature in. You're focusing on all kinds of things, but this is so vital and just turns people off.

We're aware of this issue and it's already on our wishlist. If we see a very large amount of requests for this, then it will be created sooner. We create our features based on priority and usability for our users.

I was going to upgrade to eCommerce but if its just PayPal then I will have find somewhere else to go .. Wow i spent a lot of time working on this site to find out I have to go somewhere else and start all over VERY disappointing.. There are plenty of people asking  you to change this and you drag your feet on it.. This does not bode well for future issues that may come up... 

Just to add.. Paypal charges to much and likes to punish people without any recourse.. there are many issues with paypal accusing people of nefarious dealings without the need for them to provide any proof.. You really should look into this and rectify it quickly...

Hi. Choose is important it is one of the greatest factors in online selling/buying. The direct deposit option is now on ebay and used widely. Please consider it a big wish. Thank you

Just adding my voice...I also did not realize PayPay was my only e-commerce option on Wix. I will also probably have to re-do my website and switch to another provide because of this.

Please let me know if there is any chance this might be changed soon.

There seems to be a few people who are unhappy with Paypal ? Any news on different options ?

I was going to use a payment method used in Sweden, how possible is it thats gonna be in the near future? I can go paypal and send payments threw mail or even creditcard directly sounds good. Does anyone know the profit PAYPAL take from my sellings in percent?

@chr and others- we're working on updating our eCommerce platform first, so that it will be compatible with other payment processors. Once that's done, we can then work on adding the other ones.

We cannot provide you with a date for this, as we do not have a date yet.
