I created a wix website for a customer who had their domain name registered by their previous designer. Sadly, he registered the domain in his name, not giving them any access to it and we are now having endless problems getting the domain hosting company to point the domain name to the wix servers.

Before we knew we would have these issues, i set up everything on my side in order for it to work once they point the domain to wix. We now decided to just rather register a new domain name with wix, (www.msholdings.biz) but now I cant manage to link this new domain name to the website i created for them (msholdings).

I have deleted from the domain list the old settings (it was set up for www.msholdings.co.za) but when i try to connect the new domain (www.msholdings.biz) to the wix website (msholdings) it just gives me the following error message:

This domain is already configured via a different connection method. Please delete the configuration and then return to this page to try again. If you are trying to change the Wix Site associated with the domain, please click here and select "Change" next to site preview in your Domain Summary.

Please help! they are getting very impatient!

    Hey Lorraine,

I might have misunderstood you, but when I got to msholdings.biz it is pointing to the msholdings website perfectly (see attached screenshot).

If you are not seeing it, then please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.
