Please go to "My Account" -> click on the "Settings" icon (next to the "Manage Premium" button) -> change your e-mail.
You can also change your user name and password there.

In order to change the name of your Wix creation, please click on "file"->"save as" -> name the website however you want.

Then you'll find two identical websites in your account, delete the spare one (if you want) and you're done!
If you have a premium document that needs to be transferred from the "old" website to the "new" one, simply go to the "manage premium" button on the "my account" page and choose the document that should be premium.

after upgreiting,the persons ho have the old adress,how they will finde me?

Your current free Wix address stays active after you upgrade.

I have tried what you said to do but my site address is still showing up as www.wix.com/sugarplumdesigns/wwwwixcomsugarplumsewing. this seems wrong to me. plus its so long that you can't put it on a business card, or even say the whole thing in one breath. please help me.

You can change the name of your document.

To change the name of your Wix creation, click File, then click Save As. Type in the new name.

In your account, there will now be two identical websites. You can delete the spare one (or keep it as a back-up).

If you have a premium upgrade that needs to be transferred to the new site, log into wix.com and go to the My Account tab. Under the My Account tab, click Manage Premium. Once there, click Assign under your premium package and choose the new document.

HI there, I changed my user name, but I would like to change it back as it was before, but it doesn't allow me to do that (username already exist) Is there a way to do that? Regards Martin.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have recently upgraded to a wix premium account, but the text that appears in the tab of my website next to my favicon it not what I would like it to be: "wix.com etc etc etc created by etc etc etc based on etc etc".

I would like to change this text entirely to the name of my domain, i.e. just have one word there. I have tried following the instructions in the above posts as to the "save-as" method of renaming the actual page and then changing my accout details through the "settings" tab of the "my account" section, however neither of these changes seem to be reflected in my website and the same old text keeps appearing next to the favicon.

Is there a further step that I need to perform to make the changes activate?

when I got onto my site it says "created by wastedweekender" which is a name I no longer need-how do I change this?

I need to reverse my account name (and url path) back to a previous name I used. Wix says

that user name already exists. Can wix allow reversing back to a previous name please? Or

that previous name would be wasted! Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your user name to a previously used one.
