There are two possible solutions:
1. If your domain is pointed to Wix by IP- Please contact your domain hosting company and ask them to remove the MX records that point to Wix.
2. If you are connected via Name Servers- Please ask your domain hosting company for the MX records and insert them here .In order to get your personalized email address up and running please follow the instructions here or check out the video below.

email not working ?!Hi, i've used GoDaddy to supply my e-mails, but i can only send from them.... not receive. i've spoken with GoDaddy and they advised me to change my MX settings to include 'europe' in the smtp.
i can see where the settings on my Wix account are, but i cannot change them.
can anybody help me?

Hi, some of our incoming emails are returned to sender so we never receive them (we use google apps).
that's the message they receive:I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
Any suggestions?

@krimiestek, I have sent you a personal email from support@wix.com . The test went through alright. I have double checked all of your email settings and everything is set up perfectly. You will need to get in touch with Google Apps to see what the problem is on their end.
If the problem was stemming from Wix, no email would be able to go through at all. This is something that needs to be fixed on Google's end.

Hi, I just set up my website and and tried to connect my email through hotmail on the contact me page. I've set up the info. that hotmail gave me, in the MX record space. In hotmail they gave me something for an MX server. It's a bunch of numbers.pamx1.hotmail.com So I put that in. When I tried to test it on my site and send an email through the contact me page it says owner email not setup. Is there something else I need to add to get this to work?

Regarding your contact form- you need to click on the contact form and on 'set email'.

Hi, I can connect with my own domain. Therefore we can my web. But, I can not connect my own domain mailaddress...

I used my own domain mail address on the other sever.
I made some mail address and used them.
I look my Manage Premium Edit Domain Records....
But, Where should I will make some mail address?
and... where shall I setup my own domain several mail transfer...?
and and... What is Pop3 and SMTP for my PC?

@kannasophiat, In order to connect your email you will need to ask your domain hosting company what the mx records are for your domain. The MX record is a mail exchange record. MX records map a domain name to a list of message transfer agents for that domain. You can add your MX records to Wix by using the Domain Manager.
An example of an MX record is: mx1.biz.mail.yahoo.com
Please contact your domain registrar and ask them for your email's mx records > then add these records in to your Manage Premium section. For a step by step tutorial on how to add these records to your domain, click here: Adding MX Records

Thank you for your advice.
I already asked domain manager company about it.
But, he/she said, ''You(Kannasophiat) changed name server. Therefore fale server and mail server are not already our management. You(Kannasophiat) can not use our service of data and mail function.
But, should I question to domain company?

While it is true that by changing the Name Servers (to ns1.wix.com & ns2.wix.com) your domain/email information goes through Wix servers now, but the service of hosting the domain/email is still provided by the company that you registered and obtained those services through.
In order to obtain the MX Records pertaining to your email service, you (or your manager) do need to contact the hosting company and request for them in order to add them to your domain records and make your email service function properly.

hi.
my email is not working..
when i go to send an email from my webs site.. the error message is owner not set..
my domain is with craztdomains.com.au from their end all is set up correctly apparently..
can anyone help me please..

just click on the contact form and choose email
you'll need to fill in your email address (you can add a bcc address as well)

I have reviewed your account. I see you are connected by nameservers but have not yet inserted your MX records. Please ask your email hosting company for the MX records and insert them into your domain management in your Wix account. For instructions on how to insert your MX records to your Wix account please review step 2 in Nicole's thread marked best reply; you can find it at the top of this thread.

Hi,
I have a big problem because of yahoo mail , wix and also because of me.
I made an accound to wix and I made an yahoo e-mail adress just for this account.
Firsty, it was my fault because I forgot or I wrote wrong the password and wix fault because it does'nt have "reenter password" when sing up.
I tried to get back my password with "forgot your password" tool but there was another problem : I can't see the e-mail from wix.
Recently Yahoo released Yahoo.ro in Romania and I made that e-mail without knowing that.
Now all new e-mails on Yahoo from Romania is automatically @yahoo.ro (you can change that if you want but in my case I didn't know about @yahoo.ro) and i signed up to wix with @yahoo.com
The problem with Yahoo is that if you have an account like andrei@yahoo.ro, that account is automatically seted up on @yahoo.com too and you can login to yahoo with @yahoo.com too but if someone send you an e-mail to andrei@yahoo.com you will not see that e-mail.
And that is why i can't get back my password.
Please HELP ME because I got premium on wix and i put my own domain on this site and i need it.

I forgot something.... I made a search on google and i found a way to delet the account on yahoo.
I made that and I tried to make a new account on yahoo with the same name but @yahoo.com (like I signed up on wix) but there is another problem.... The account is deleted but the name will be avaible again after 3 months :((.......
