Yes! You can send your users to specific pages of your site!
You will have automatic deep links for Master Pages, Pages, expanded pictures and expanded products.
In order to create the link for Pages and Master Pages (e.g. www.wix.com/about) you will need to change the names of your Master Pages and Pages in the Page Manager.
Please note that the hashbang symbols (#!) in the URL are part of the deep linking mechanism and cannot be removed or altered. This symbol is used for sites that utilize AJAX and is for better visibility within google. You can read more here .
You can find more information about deep linking here .

Hi,
I'm using the deep linking feature to link from different pages within differing Master pages groups. Since I am using the "free version" of Wix to rough draft my site prior to going live, I have a question-
I plan on using another domain name rather than the current user "email" domain, and switching over to e-commerce "Pay version". Will I have to relink my deep links or will Wix automatically update upon conversion?

If you're using the deep-links to link to something by inserting the URL in the 'link' dialog, then you will need to re-link all of the links and use the domain instead of the free URL (i.e. domain.com/deeplink instead of wix.com/user/site/deeplink)

Yes it will because it will give Google and other search engines more information about your site to index.

when you navigate to my site it always reads www.mydomain.com
how do I get the deep link to show up as www.mydomain/something_else
all of the pages have the names changed to what I want... my home page is named home, and I would assume the deep link should read www.mydomain.com/home ---> why is this not happening for me?

Hi Belgirate
Deep linking does not make your site load slower --it is meant for easy navigation through your website
The browser address line (URL) now changes as people browse through your website, just as it changes in standard HTML sites. This feature allows you and your visitors to directly link to specific Pages, photos in a gallery, eCommerce products and Master Pages inside your Wix website. You and your visitors can now publish direct links on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter and on blogs; you can paste direct links in emails and bookmark them in a browser.

Hi rohit4334,
If you would like to link a page from the first master page to a page within the second master page, you can use the button feature. To add a button, click on 'Add' > 'Navigation' > 'Buttons'.
Then, click on 'Link' from the panel on the right. There, choose 'URL' and type the URL of the page that you would like to link it to. You can then choose to open it in the same window.

Hi ,
I think the master pages are automatically on a deep linking system right ? I cannot view the individual page urls no matter how many times i save and refresh and even enter the pages with the #! for eg, even if i type www.applebee.in/#!clients the site still loads only at my home page. Please assist. Would like to start using the facebook apps to re-direct traffic to certain pages on my site.
We are on the unlimited premium membership plan ( if this info helps in any way).

Hi,
Thanks Wix for allowing me to get off my behind and set up two sites, one for artwork, one for photography.
I purchased via One.com matt-goldsmith.co.uk - I need to know if I can have both artwork and photography on that domain, under the URLs matt-goldsmith.co.uk/artwork and matt-goldsmith.co.uk/photography respectively, and have a master index page portal with image links to both separate URLs..
is this possible? I haven't upgraded my artwork site to premium yet, but if this is possible I will do so -

Or should I just combine the two sites do you think, into the one premium that I've upgraded, make a new master page..
