Wix Answers

Currently we don't offer templates for blogs. This feature is on our development roadmap and will be built in order of priority. Priority is based on the popularity of our Wishlist items, which is full to overflowing with your good ideas and feedback!

There are three options for adding a blog to Wix for now:
1. You can use our RSS feature- For more information click here.
2. You can use our HTML feature.
3. For a Wordpress blog, please click here.

The Blog feature is ranked very high on our WishList. It is currently in advanced development stages, and will be released in the near future.
We will notify all users once it's ready for use.

I am sorry, but currently we don't have a final date for the release of this feature as we are still working on it.

All new comers to WiX. I was new to this just 3 months ago and I was very impatient with WiX, because I was looking for specific features and was in a hurry to use the program for my business.

WiX didn't have everything, but I learned by being patient, that I was not the only person in the world to wish for different things for the future, and already now after only 3 months, I can make e-commerce buttons in my own language, the editor has really improved, I see less bugs and strange things happening, less saving errors and faster loads for every day. So I learned to be patient ... Because the WiX team wants WiX to be able to do all of these things, just as much as I do. It's only a matter of time, for the programmers to get where we all want WiX to go.

I believe in WiX and depend my businesses on it. I know that WiX will be on iPhones too in some time. But Rome was not build in 1 day ... I understand this now.

Blogging will also come very soon, I am sure of it!

Stay with WiX. It's my best recomendation for any website developper.

I am a high school teacher, and I am currently using Weebly.com to host a website for my class. I stumbled onto Wix today and LOVE the format! But no blog is keeping me from switching to Wix...my students do two blogs a month, and I think it's a great assignment. Until then, I'll stay signed up for Wix e-mails, anxiously awaiting the day blogs are available! When they are, I'll be here permanently! :)

I would love to be able to add my blog from blogger.com to the homepage of my wix.  The blog option currently available on wix only shows an image basically of my blog and to see more you have to click the URL link at the bottom.  I want to actually have the blog shown on wix so that people can scroll through it.  Here is an example of what I would want to be able to have the blog feature look like:  http://stephaniehaller.com/weddings/ .  When you click the link the page you are directed to is what I would want to be able to show on my own site with the blog.  Can't wait!

Seriously.   I need a way to archive posts and have them display on their own without crating 1000 separate pages.

I'm learning as well - I'm a whiner (in that humorous way) - but as I learn - I like the Flash beauty -just really wish things were more available.

I'm hoping to stick with Wix for my customers - and well - hopefully things will happen...

I have faith.

Everyone's grandmother's dog has a blog so I don't understand why Wix doesn't have a blog feature since blog is one of the biggest marketing tool for e-commerce/businesses. Wix has many great features but it surprises me that they miss this basic tool.  Is there an ETA?

Unless a blog gets up and running soon I'm just using wix as a means to an end right now.. because creating separate pages for each new article is really not efficient and there is no way to archive the posts.  Lame. Lame. Lame.

What a lot of our users do at present is use a Wordpress Blog and link their domain to both their Wordpress blog and their Wix website. Read more about this here.
