You can find a list of the characters Wix currently supports here.

Please note that we have added new fonts in Arabic in the HTML5 editor! It supports all languages and special characters that are supported by UTF8, which is a dominant character encoding for the World Wide Web.
You can find the HTML5 Templates here.

Non-English characters that are supported by Wix will work in text boxes and paragraphs, but they may not work in photo or product galleries. We are working on improving Wix's language compatibility and will update you with new additions as they become available. In addition, please note that Flash does not support right-to-left text and since Wix is Flash-based, using right-to-left text may not work properly.

For non-English languages, we encourage that you try the following:

1. Use Browser Text: Add ->Text -> Paragraphs -> Browser.
Browser Text works for most languages, but it doesn't work for all of them. Currently, only Times New Roman, Arial, Courier New and Tahoma fonts are available with Browser Text.

2. Save your text as a picture. Save the text as a .jpg in a graphic editing program, and upload it to your Wix document in .jpg format.
Alternately, if you know how to use a program such as Adobe Photoshop, you can save your text as a .png file with a transparent background and upload it this way. (Please note that this method is less SEO-friendly.)

3. Upload a Word or PDF document of your text to your Editor. This document will then be available for download by your users.

Important SEO note for right-to-left text: If you type your text backwards into the Editor (when using Simple Text or Titles) so that it appears "normal" to users, the text will still come out backwards in the source code. However, this is not true for Browser Text. Using Browser Text is the best solution for right-to-left languages as the text will appear correctly both in the document and in the source code.

Thanks, Nicole,

    dears,

what about the site design alignment, in Arabic it is like Hebrew, where the design of the whole site should be a mirror reflection from right side to left side

in Arab world we usually use 2 languages for a website, English and Arabic, so we will need 2 mirrored alignment

is this possible with Wix ?

As GooD As IT GeTs !

    Hi @alessac,

To add requests to the wish list please type your request here

    http://www.wix.com/support/forum/all-topics#!storyType=WISHLIST

You can then select Wishlist tab from the menu when you type in the quick search.

This will also let you know if other users are making similar requests.

All this will mark your request correctly and it will be added to the list.

Any chance in providing the cursive written Arabic rather than just letters?
