Hello and welcome to my modeling webpage.

My name is Dominique Octavia Ansari, I'm orginally from Jackson, Mississippi, but have been living in California where the stars are born for three years with my husband and no I don't have any children yet.

I have been interested in modeling and the fashion industry since the age of 11 and have modeled both professionally and just for fun since the age of 16. At the age of 16, I was signed with AboutFacesMTM in New Orleans (which was the closest agency to me at that time) through a scouting network in which 6 other agencies showed interest in me including Irene Marie, Ford, Elite, Q model management, wilhelmina, and the agency in which I signed. Being in High school with no job and no car , it was almost impossible for me to model at that time. My parents couldn't afford to take me to different agencies farther than new orleans which was still three hours away from Mississippi. I wanted it so bad that I sent hundreds of photos out monthly hoping that someone would throw me a contract getting me out of an unfashionaly state.

I went on and forgot about modeling for a while and concentrated on getting my education in hopes of moving to New York or California. I met my husband in Mississippi, married him and we moved to California where I got my BFA in Fashion Design. Now, I make designs for my future lines and model as well.

I hope to get back into the world of modeling to pursue a dream that was once lost. I hope to get signed as soon as possible and will continue on the path ahead.
