SUNS is a model United Nation simulation that takes place in Saltillo in which 7th, 8th, and 9th graders from all around Mexico take the role of UN delegates representing a country and discussing our worlds current situation. They act as if they were real members of the UN, and try to achieve solutions in a peaceful, creative, and collective way. This year we expect the best of our delegates, to make this simulation one more time, unforgettable.

Guest Speaker
Our purpose is that our guest speaker will change something on you, wait for more information about it!
-Look for information about all the countries in the committee.-Write the solutions and opinions of all the countries during the debate.-Always bring a book or almanac to look up for information.-Don´t be distracted while the debate takes place.-Try to participate all the possible times you can. -Say intelligent and important things for the debate.-Avoid having any warning.-Give ideas and participate on the resolution. -Make good arguments and do not talk just for trying to make more points, if your information isn't important the director won't count it. -Be respectful with your commentaries. -Think wisely, stay realistic. -DO YOUR BEST, ENJOY THE DEBATE AND NEVER MISS A SMILE ON YOUR FACE!

DRESS CODEMEN -Must wear a suit or jacket and dress trousers (no jeans), with a dress shirt and tie.-Dress shoes must be worn. No hats or caps will be allowed.-Party semi-formal (no jeans, without tie and suit)WOMEN -Must wear a dress, suit, or dress pants or shirt (no jeans, spaghetti straps, or mini skirt) with blouse or sweater.-Make up must be discrete.-Again, dress shoes must be worn, no flip-flops allowed. Please avoid provocative dressing. Let us remind you that the Chair will strictly enforce the dress code, and noncompliance will result in an immediate warning.
