I'm Sue !
Sue Krauer, Art Director
I graduated with a B.A. in Art Studio from UCSB in 1986. During my career, I've been a typesetter, art director of a showdog magazine, traveled the world doing sound and research for tv shows, helped write and produce an award-winning documentary (www.cryofthesnowlion.com), was a member of the board of directors at a therapeutic riding center, and successfully run my own graphic design business for over fifteen years. I'm the proud mom of an amazing son and live with my family in the beautiful Santa Ynez valley just beyond Santa Barbara, California.
I love what I do! I'm committed to making every job look it's very best, meeting deadlines, working within budgets, and always doing business with a smile!

Prices below are general estimates for just some of the things I do. Please contact Art Department if
you have a set budget or a special project -- we'll find a way to create what you need for an affordable price!
LOGO: $200
Price includes 3 layouts plus 2 rounds of revisions. Extra revision = $25 each. Inclusion of non-customer supplied art or photo billed at $50/hour
LETTERHEAD & ENVELOPES: $150
Text layout including customer-supplied logo or art. Price includes 2 layouts plus 2 rounds of revisions. Extra revisions = $25 each. Creation of extra art elements billed at $50/hour.
BUSINESS CARDS/POST CARDS: $150
Price includes 2 layouts plus 2 rounds of revisions. Extra revisions = $25 each. Inclusion of non-customer supplied art or photo billed at $50/hour.
BROCHURES: $350
Price is for layout of full color trifold brochure, customer supplied copy. Editing/copywriting, creation of custom art, and stock photo research or retouching available for $50/hour.
FLYERS: $100
8.5x11" flyer in BW or color, customer supplied text and art; extra art or photos and/or copy billed at $50/hour.
WEBSITES: $750
Websites created on Homestead.com or Wix.com. Price includes design of home page, web page template, plus up to 4 more pages (total of 5 ) pages. Client supplies copy, art, and photos; extra photos and/or copywriting billed at $50/hour. Extra pages billed at $50 each. 1.5 hours of maintenance training included. Technical support consultation from Art Department is free! You own and maintain your website, or have Art Department handle update maintenance for $25/page. Client is responsible for all fees from webhost; please visit www.homestead.com or www.wix.com for more details.
ADVERTISEMENTS: $100-$250
Smaller or simple ads in B&W are typically less than $100; full page color ads are typically around $250. Price is for all art & text supplied by client; creation of custom art, stock photo research, copywriting etc. billed at $50/hour.
OTHER SERVICES:
Art Department also offers illustration, digital photo retouching, and basic copywriting services, generally billed at $50/hour. Professional photography, writing and other services can be arranged through our creative network.
