Come inside and behind the scenes of the Secret world of the Action Star. This weekly reality series follows the staff of one of the worlds leading Movie and TV stunt training facilities as they go through the process of selecting, training and then testing Actors, Models, Athletes, Stunt hopefuls and everyday people. These people have come from around the world to compete, in hopes of achieving their dream of attaining one of the most glamourous and exciting jobs of all - ACTION STAR .
In addition we will meet these adrenaline junkie professional stunt instructors - explore their backgrounds to see what drives them and really makes them tick.

Colin Handley
Executive Producer - Action Star Academy - The TV Series
Principal of the world renowned Australian Stunt Academy, Colin has taught stunt and Action performers in Hollywood, Australia and Thailand. He is a nine times Australian national Blackbelt champion, Film and TV Actor and Action Trainer to the stars. Colin has worked for years in Hollywood, been the star of an Action Film, a series regular on several TV soaps as well as a presenter and TV Host.
After many years of perfecting his stunt training facility and techniques, his Australian Stunt Academy is the perfect location where the Action Star Academy - Reality TV Series will be shot.
Gregg Sargeant
Director - Action Star Academy - The TV Series
A Hollywood Producer, Director and Stunt Coordinator.
Gregg has been in the motion picture and television industry for over 26 years.
In 2004 Mr. Sargeant was inducted into the Hollywood Stuntmens Hall of Fame.
In addition he has produced, directed and created content for TV networks globally and is sought after by producers, directors and studios around the world.
One of Hollywood's premiere Action experts, Greggs vast experience and expertise in front of as well as behind the camera have been displayed in movie blockbusters such as: "Alien Resurrection", "Godzilla", "War of The Worlds" and "Pirates of The Caribbean", to mention a few. He truly knows what it takes to be an Action Star.
Course Content
Practical
Activities such as Acting for Action, Tumbling,
Low & High Falls, Abseiling, Firearms, Flying on Wirework, Fight Choreography, Swordplay and Weapons.
Each participant will be instructed
at their own level of competency.
Theory
The theory components that an Action Star should know such as Safety, Teamwork, Marketing, Audition Techniques, Getting Work and on set etiquette. In addition,there are theory, information, demonstrations and group discussion.
Everyone enrolled in this course will have the opportunity to participate in the filming of the TV series.
