"A Stuart Saint Rock Ballet is a fresh and unique style of theatre""During my college training I was inspired by the likes of Mathew Bourne, Sylvie Guillem and Michael Flatley. Also I have constantly looked up to and im heavily influenced by the likes of, film director Tim Burton and drawn to the perfections of director / choreographer Bob Fosse. The idea to create a story based, theatrical show, told mainly through varied styles of dance began to evolve through a series of events and discoveries. I wanted to open up the world of dance to a whole new audience and embarked on creating a show which welcomes everyone to see.Although Rock Ballet, as a genre, already exists but is somewhat undefined, a STUART SAINT ROCK BALLET is however original, because of my individuality. Whilst performing with the Moscow State Circus in a a cirque du Soleil style production titled TRANCE, I discovered and began to explore new and unconventional ways to tell / express a story. Breaking through theatrical barriers and bending some traditional rules.After a few years of development, experience and evaluation, a STUART SAINT ROCK BALLET has become a theatrical event. PRINCESS (a rock ballet) has become a story still told mainly through the varied genres of dance, but is now narrated by song, composed and written by myself with my electro SAINT slant, sung by singers who step in and out of the story on many levels. Accompanied with short black and white art house film, the story is enhance and emotions are portrayed deeper.Ultimately I have realized that the story must be told in its best possible form and am constantly developing ways to do so within my unique style and flair. Defining my own genre, I hope the audiences will enjoy and be completely entertained."STUART SAINT
