Larissa was born in 1982 in Brooks, Alberta, Canada. A creative at birth, Larissa has always had a passion for art and has been intensely active in her artistic development. In 2001, she attended ACAD (Alberta College of Art & Design) in Calgary, Alberta and majored in Fibre and later in 2005 attended Chico State University in Chico, California majoring in Sculpture.
Since 2005, Larissa has focused her artistic interest on acrylic painting with the majority of her pieces including 2D mixed media. The series that Larissa is currently working on is called 'Where' which depicts countries and continents of interest to her that she intends to travel.
