Theunis has a BSc Degree in Nature Conservation and Forestry. He rarely, however, uses the skills he picked up while studying this.
He has been taking photos since he was 11 when he severely pissed off his father by wasting a whole spool on the rings around the sun. He also soon realised that he shouldn't try to take a camera apart, as it seems to be outside his skill-set.
Theunis loves fashion photography and fashion, although he is not personally a slave to the beast.
He thinks that boots, jeans and a t-shirt should be daily workwear for everybody, except in summer, when shorts are a must.
The photo on the left is not Theunis. He has far less hair, has stopped smoking long ago and rarely mows the lawn.
He also hates wasting time and people that waste his time.
Theunis received the Gold Award in the Fashion and Beauty Catagory at the 2008 Sony SA Profotoawards.
