This program is designed for high school teens, grades 9-12. Teen Faith promotes spiritual and social growth by meeting in Christian fellowship and providing spiritual sharing, service projects and social activities. We try to discover how to accept God's love and learn to love him back and learn to grow in faith and in love. We look for Jesus in the face of others.
We are active in all aspects of our church and community. We help teach Religious Ed, we lector, we are alter servers, we are in the teen band and choirs, we usher, we attend the
diocese Youth Rally and March for Life, we compete in the One Act Play through the diocese, we attend Mount 2000 and Steubenville, we have 2 retreats a year, one in the Fall and one
in the Spring, we go to a soup kitchen to serve the poor, and we also go on a mission trip to rebuild poor peoples homes every summer.
We meet every Sunday night for the Teen Mass from 6-7pm followed by Teen Faith from 7:15 - 9pm. Membership is open to ALL high school students. Friends, regardless of denomination, are always welcome.
We have a teen leadership board of 12 teens in our youth group. The teens involved in this group help to plan and lead youth nights and our biannual retreats.
We feel:
The mass never ends.
It must be lived.
We shall go forth to love and serve the Lord.
